There were some positive aspects to the stay. The reception staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and the location is excellent right in the city centre and close to public transportation. The bathroom exhaust fan did not work, which meant having to deal with unpleasant smells and excessive humidity. The toilet seat was also extremely small, almost child-sized, and very uncomfortable for adults. The underground parking requires mandatory valet service, which costs an additional CAD 21 per night, plus tips. I also felt uncomfortable with the expectation of tipping every time the vehicle was brought out by the morning-shift valet driver. Some rooms do not have a refrigerator. I was initially assigned one of these rooms and had to request a room change because I needed a fridge. A frustrating incident happened 11 pm on my last night. My room key cards suddenly stopped working. I had to go to reception twice to have them replaced. My family had to wait in the corridor for approximately 20 minutes after a long 3-hour road trip, until I finally received a working key. Finally, the beds made loud squeaking noises with every movement, which was disruptive and made it difficult to sleep comfortably.

The check-in was amazing, staff was very helpful. But I don't know if we were supposed to give a tip to the valet, because he kept saying thank you, and looking at us weirdly, like he was waiting for something. Would be nice to notify it for the tourist if we have to give one. But otherwise amazing stay thank you.

Excellent staff - friendly and always helpful. How to access to the underground parking garage could have been made much clearer on website as it's very easy to miss it in busy, one-way traffic. Getting in and out of the parking garage was also difficult, even in a mid-sized SUV.

The location of the hotel was good and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The wifi also worked well compared to other places on the trip. The price was decent. The rooms were quite dated (but clean) and maybe a little noisy. The reception also double charged me for the deposit though both of these were returned after I left with no difficulty.

Very accessible and the room was clean and tidy. The room is not sound proof ( you will hear the noise from other rooms. No complimentary breakfast.

Great location - few steps away from downtown, so all reachabe by feet. also the tram in the center that reaches the hotel and city library is for free in the city center. Personal was very helpful. the hotel itself has its best time in the past. compared to Europe underequipped for its category. but still comfortable enough and location is amazing.
