SLS Playa Mujeres – ALL Inclusive Collection

The property itself is very nice we stayed here last year during the 4th of July and had a wonderful time but this year was totally different in a not so good way. We will never return The property sent me an email to ensure we have a great stay and wanted to know our preferences and restaurant reservations and I emailed them and never got a response. When we got to the property we felt it must have been under new management because staff attitude towards guests were almost at times rude. Last year they were fabulous but we learned that the butler Alexis we had last year had left and another bellman Mario had left. Now we understand why, the people working there could care less about the customer. We had one waiter at the Italian restaurant that was FABULOUS, I wish I could remember his name because he really went out of his way and was an outstanding waiter. The hostess at the Italian restaurant was extremely rude saying we did not have reservations when I clearly showed her our butlers text with the reservations stated. She said it didn’t matter that I had them in a text , what mattered is that she didn’t have them so we didn’t have reservations. The guy at the front desk was very accommodating and he called a head butler who fixed the issue. The head butler was kind and apologized for the incident. Since it was hard to get in the restaurants we tried room service but a lot of times they didn’t answer or got the order wrong. I could go on and on. I guess what surprised us the most was the stark contrast between last year and this year at this hotel. I will never recommend any of my clients to go here. Very unfortunate vacation that we were so excited to return to. All you have to do is look at my last year google review of this hotel and see how much we loved our experience last year. This year total opposite

front desk very rude! Security his name Claudio with our babysitter very rude and unprofessional!!! when we check in the front desk took 1 hour to do our process, is advertise on the OTI that kids are staying free and we had to pay for the kids, fire alarm went on 5 times in our room for no reason and we had to call to be removed completely , the balcony door that opening the lazy river access was broken and we call to be fixed anyone could go inside our unit, nobody come to fix it my husband did it on the end. Front desk staff unprofessional and untrained for this type of hotel. We went outside the property to have dinner with our babysitter we bought some food for her family to take it back home , when we went back to the hotel security was very rude with her acting like she was stealing the food from the hotel, i had to call several times to the concierge to clarify that she wasn't taking anything from there and they can see the camera that we come inside with the bag and it wasn't from the property. Inn room dinning was impossible to get a hold of them and when we did after waiting one hour for the order we had to cancel it because we never received the order. Front desk is front of the house and first impression of the hotel must be train and accelerate the check in and check out process, we was expecting the bill to be sent to us with a night before for reviewing and accelerate the check out process

The views of the ocean are fantastic. The rooms are well appointed. Spa is excellent. Butler service was very helpful in setting up appointments like spa, photography, bell desk, nanny etc. Great private beach for Elite members We went on a busy weekend so the food service staff seemed a bit rushed, but food was excellent overall.

Great experience all around. Staff is incredible and friendly and very accommodating. Great food options. No long waits for food or drinks. Awesome beach - lots of pool options. Kids club was fantastic. No “toddler club”; would have been cool if they also offered a daycare option for the little ones 1-3 year olds. Rooms a little bit small.

I enjoyed the food and the location. The staff was excellent. I like the environment and the beach view. The service was very well too. I enjoyed the all inclusive drinks and dissertation as well The room was very humid/wet and has mold in some areas on the walls and bathroom. I did not enjoy how everything felt wet on the bed and sheets. It was very moisture.

Some areas were dirty with cups from other guests and also towels in the pool area piled up from people that left their wet towels there

We were there during spring break, and it was full. They were under staffed and restaurants kitchens could keep up. Waited about 1 hour to get food some nights. Lines were long to get into breakfast each morning.

The property is very aesthetically pleasing. I wish they had an app where you can schedule your restaurant reservations and if there was one my friends who checked in weren’t notified about it. Also the smoothie place definitely needs bigger on the go cups with lids for their smoothies. For some reason the smoothie were just not it. I wish some of the pools were a little headed they were cold.

Nothing! I paid extra 200$ for the room they told me they will refund but they did not! There were huge lines for dining especially breakfast. Nighshift manager was rude! The sofa bed was boken we can not sleep all night they said we wil change your room but her name was Dalpina I am not sure she sait wait I will change your room we all packed wait but she did not It was the worst holiday we had in our life. Mu husband slept in the balcony.

Nothing you have to woke up 6 am to find a spot in the pool or beach all the people put their towels and and never show up! The night manager was very rude. We paid extra money to upgrade our room, but the sofa bed in the room was broken. She told us that she would change our room and asked us to pack our belongings. We packed everything and waited, but she never came back. Instead, she became upset with us and even blocked our room entry. I have never experienced this kind of behavior in my life. They told us that they would refund the extra money we paid for the upgrade, but we still have not received it. This was a very disappointing experience.

Private areas for “elite guests” that are also adults only for a gorgeous pool area with great food. Concierge/butler service was incredible to assist with dinner reservations, spa, questions, etc. Meals at dinner weren’t as tasty as breakfast/lunch options.

The Coffee Bar: A total gem for caffeine lovers. It’s the perfect spot to start your morning with a high-quality brew that actually tastes artisanal. The Restaurants: We were consistently impressed by the dinner quality. The flavors were sophisticated, and the presentation was top-tier. The Buffet: This was surprisingly seamless. There are so many options catering to every palate, and despite the resort being busy, it was incredibly easy to be seated without a long wait. Sun, Sand, and Service The outdoor amenities are exactly what you want from a luxury Mexican resort: The Pool: Vibrant, well-maintained, and great for lounging. The Beach: Beautiful white sand and clear water—classic Costa Mujeres beauty. Less fragrant cleaning products in the rooms would be nice. Heating the hot tubs would have been nice since it was cold during our stay. Having a adults only block of rooms would have been nice as well.

Everything was amazing

The service is impeccable. The care the staffs is giving is unique.

I liked the modern facilities, not crowded, cleanliness, not restricted amount of towels at the pool, tasty food, and very attentive staff. I didn’t like that jacuzzis are not heated, and I couldn’t use spa facilities for free or at least for decent price.

Strong fragrance everywhere which is difficult for me due to allergies.

Making reservations to the restaurants was almost impossible. Even though we had a reservation one night at the steak house, they cancelled our reservation. Terrible.
