Taj Holiday Village Resort & Spa

So the front desk staff during checkin Deesha was very helpful. She gave us an early checkin and also we requested for some better facing rooms. She upgraded us at no cost. The housekeeping staff was fabulous . We stayed in room 1058 and the staff was so mindful of our requirements. Infact after our first night he realised that we are a family of 4 and he on his own started stocking more for towels, toiletries and water. He also personally checked on us for couple of times during the day if we need cleaning services. This guy deserves a raise. BF was decent. Can be better. The club house manager for kids play zone was also too good and kept the kids engaged. I think BF and lunch could have been better. We found it to be tasting almost the same every day. So variities in same category of menu was there but there were no variation. Like a few 2-3 unique items would have made a good exception. For ex they everybday had Mezze platter salad and Chat. It could have been different. Also on the starter it was boring. Could have been opitons like Bao, SUSHI some day, some asian veggies. or maybe some local goan dishes. this was damp.

Well maintained park. Caravela serves pathetic food, especially if you order anything non-Indian. Breakfast was cheap for such room price and Taj in general. The beach was dirty and crowded.

This is an awesome place with privacy, beach access, and great staff. This is perfect place. Except breakfast times could be from 7am

I believe this is one of the few 5 star resorts in North Goa that faces the beach. This is probably the reason why it attracts a lot of crowds. The property is large and well spaced. They have 2 pools - family pool and adult only pool. I visited during the monsoons so everything was green and we got to see a lot of fauna. I enjoyed my stay. The property is a bit old so the rooms could do a renovation. The bathrooms are small. The shower could have a better scrub down as we could see some mold in the tile grout.

The property is really beautiful and the location is perfect...rooms are spacious and breakfast spread was really good It was a nightmare to get buggy to get to the reception..we waited for almost an hour for it, and finally had no option but to walk in the heavy rain to get out of the room...the room service took an unusually long time too. At times no one picks up calls at reception so it was very frustrating. We were celebrating a bday on 2nd July and had requested to make it special..they did that at the time of our check in itself on 30th June..nothing was done on 2nd July which was disappointing
