Honeymoon Guesthouse

The bed was large and comfortable, and the setting was tranquil and peaceful. The food and the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast options were ample. It is close to the noisy, chaotic street scene of Ubud but it is relatively quiet where the hotel is located.

This is an exceptional property with the kindest staff. The rooms have exceptional interior design that feels genuine, actual pieces of art. The food and service at the restaurant are rop notch and the breakfast is delicious. The second room I was given might have been too dark and a little noisy in the morning but OMG was it beautiful ?

I've stayed here a few times & I'm always very happy. Lovely atmosphere. Excellent breakfasts. Gorgeous balinese style rooms with fabulous balconies. Excellent value .

I have stayed at the Honeymoon Guesthouse a few times and it is now my preferred place to stay in Ubud. It is in the city centre and within walking distance of good restaurants and cafes which I like. The facilities are pretty good for a mid-priced hotel. The staff are always helpful and friendly. On this trip, I left my spare spectacles behind when I checked out and the ladies at Honeymoon 2 reception helped to send them to me in Singapore, which I want to thank them for. The breakfasts at Honeymoon Kitchen are excellent. There is some noise from a bar near the guesthouse that has live music at night, but this stops before midnight, so wasn't too much of an inconvenience. There was also some traffic noise from the small path that ran next to the guesthouse, but this again wasn't too bad. The room safes are old, a little difficult to use, and should really be replaced with something that is newer and easier to use. There isn't an accessible plug point near the provided kettle in the room, so I had to carry this to the bathroom and plug it in there.

Honeymoon guesthoues was so lovely, a great place to stay with a group of friends. We loved the pool areas, they were really peaceful and quiet, all the staff were really lovely and helpful. The breakfast was delicious as well.

The staff were great Wayan was very helpful. Loved the yoga teacher Katut. Kitchen was very helpful The grounds were beautiful showers were powerful and warm. nice yoga facility I had a room next to very loud restaurant music so need to request quiet room if you like to go to bed early. Pools were clean and deep!

The very good breakfast served by sweet and friendly staff was a ritual of my time in Ubud. It became the consistent warm and welcoming start of every day. Just be careful not to get one of the rooms near the street....street noise has become an issue but only in one part of the guesthouse.

The rooms we stayed at were breathtaking from the outside. Real royal experience. Old and worn down. Pool tiles were loose and broken, mosquitoes protection on window was missing as well as no plastic on room so all the cool air could disappear.

Staff and food in honeymoon guesthouse were great but we couldn't stay there. Can't comment on the rooms because didn't get one. The rooms at garden view were good the with Netflix possible for my kids. We had so stay in the sister honeymoon garden view. We were told they didn't have family rooms in honeymoon guesthouse (though I later saw a family of four that were staying there) Booked on booking com to stay at the honeymoon guesthouse for the vibe there so being moved to garden view was very disappointing. Honeymoon Garden View was about 5 minutes walk away so we walked to breakfast at honeymoon Guesthouse each morning (though they had offered to deliver breakfast to us. Honeymoon gardenview seemed unfinished with some construction going on and unfinished landscaping. Overall disappointing because I wasn't allocated what I paid for on booking.com. You need to do better Honeymoon Guesthouse.

I really don't like to give negative feedback, and I know many people love this hotel. I was recommended this hotel by a co-worker here in Australia actually, who loves the Honeymoon guesthouse. So I'm sure it's perfectly fine for a lot of people. But I was unhappy with many aspects. The room was dirty, bedding had lots of stains. The bedding and towels all smelled of mildew/damp. The bathroom was grimy and had a sewage smell, and the toilet paper wasn't regular paper rolls, but rather those little flimsy squares (I went out and bought a roll of regular loo paper to use). The room didn't cool very well probably because there are lots of gaps in the blinds (and structural holes in the wall) for the air con to escape. The noise was a big con - a dog barking outside my room all night. Could hear everything through the gaps in the wall/blinds, which made it feel like camping. I had to forgo my following two nights booked as I couldn't sleep properly, which is a deal breaker for me. I may be a bit fussy/picky, so just writing this review for those who are like myself and need comforts. I wish the guesthouse all the best and the lovely staff there as well, but this was just not for me.

The place is like a temple. The gardens and the statues, absolutely amazing. Beautiful furniture. The food also really good. The pool felt royal! Location great. The sheets were stained and the mosquito nets were dirty (dust and mosquito blood). The smell in the room was moldy and old. I could barely sleep. I didn't feel cosy in the bed.

Found a special rate on bookings.com and room as expected was not very posh. They were kind to upgrade as they had space, without extra charge, and that was truly appreciated. Good Guest service
