Banana's Camp - Hostel

Proximity to Cannes Film Festival venues and train station made getting around walkable. Water was tepid and you need to keep activating the spout. Some lightning didn’t work in the room and stairwell.

The staff was great and its close for the Cannes Film Festival. I thought the bathroom and the sheets on the bed could have been more comfy.

I had made a mistake with my reservation (wrong date) and they fixed it for me without any problems!

Staff wasn't so friendly. The toilets are not so much in number so you might have to wait.

Property looks esthetically pleasing. Inside things are new, well maintained and clean.

The hostel looks amazing. Modern insides and extremely nice staff. After the AC was not funcitoning in my 8 bedroom, the staff upgraded me to a 6 bedroom where the AC was functioning really well.

The huge kitchen was fantastic; well stocked with 3 fridges and a freezer, microwaves, 2 ovens and ample kitchen utensils and staples like sea salt, pepper, olive oil, tomato sauce etc. The post-it labelling system worked well. The beds were comfortable and clean. Easy access to many supermarkets and a Picard within walking distance for frozen gourmet food. No elevator!! No recycling! There was no bar (there was but it never opened!) or social area to mingle with other travellers so the kitchen became the hub. The garden outside was dry and unkept and too loud with traffic from the busy intersection. No light or power outlet for each bed and the lockers all shared the same key, which is not good security for your belongings. No ability to lock the big drawer under the bed either.

This place is convenient and neat. It provides a well-equipped kitchen. The staff is nice too. I enjoy this stay pretty much. The bunk bed is not steady. It makes a lot of noise when you climb up and down. The toilet is not good as well. The light always goes off by itself cause it used motion sensor only at the entrance and it does not activate for a long time. Also this place has no lift.
