Stayed in the junior suites in the side building and had a great experience. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped. There is a gym in the same building with all the equipment you need for a good workout. And there is also a rooftop pool in the same building with a great view and a lot of lounge chairs and lounge areas. The only reason I went to the main hotel is to have the buffet breakfast which is pretty good with a lot of options. The walk is about 4 minutes so not a big deal. On the first day we were a bit skeptical and in fact we asked the front desk to switch us to the main hotel building. They gave us keys for two rooms which we went and toured and ultimately decided to stay in the side building and were very pleased. Also the hotel is a very short walk to the Canyamel beach which is a hidden gem. Water is gorgeous without the crowds and there’s a few beach restaurants well priced and with good options. All in all I was pleased to have chosen Canyamel. You definitely need a car if you plan to explore any part of the island or even if you want access to Cala ratjada or Cala millor which are the two main cities with restaurants and shops. Our check in also left us with a sour taste in our mouth. We checked in at 10 PM and I think at that time they leave the security guard to do the check ins - we had a person named Manolo who was very rude and condescending. We arrived very hungry and he was very extremely unhelpful in helping us find food. For a four star hotel I would not let security manage the front desk. Lastly the cleaning was average. We found that sheets were not changed (we stayed for 6 nights) and the cleaning of the floor was average.

Once my mom felt bad after the dinner in a hotel (before we only had breakfast, same in the hotel), a piece of watermelon tasted like it was spoiled. Obviously, my mom didn’t finish that piece but ate the other one. She was vomiting later that night. After I complained to administration desk, the answer was “It’s not possible, it’s not our fault” ?

staff very friendly and heloful and the food was excelkent purpose of our visit was a spa break, spa staff did not work over weekend, this is not advertised and the steam room was out of order. pools were very cold. phone in room did not work and the shower drain emptied very slowly

Amazing location, rooms were lovely and breakfast/dinner buffet had a great selection! I think the air conditioning is broken as it was cold in the rooms and we couldn’t turn it down or off.

Relaxed with no children. Staff efficient and friendly. Parking in Canyamel. Difficult to find anywhere near hotel on first day, and after a day driving to anywhere else.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. Very close to the beach and i really enjoyed the area. The breakfast was also very good. The gym was a bit sub par, not much option to choose from and could do with an upgrade. The bed, or rather the underneath of the bed, looked a bit tacky. I think it should be covered up by the blankets - it almost looks like a hospital bed (talking about the bottom of the bed) The pool located upstairs could also do with a bit of a clean, often looked a bit murky.

I found it to very impersonal. Staff busy and nobody seemed friendly or made effort to be helpful Our room in Annex of the hotel was comfortable

Comfortable bed, great breakfast and dinner choices. Near the beach, lovely quiet location but enough facilities. No kids Cold indoor pool and cold hot tubs

This hotel is a dream, the room is amazing, enought space, also the roof swimmingpool was great. I definettly recommend and will come again :)

good location, good wifi connection, nice staff, and the beds are super comfortable - big plus point! i really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back here in the future! the only bad thing was the cleaning, the same “dirty” areas (bathroom & bedroom) have been there for all 5 days, also we had lots of dark hair everywhere (we are blonde)

Stylish, modern and very clean. Room and balcony was very spacious. Good powerful shower, and fluffy white towels. All staff wonderful - special shout out to Monica. Ideal place to just relax Non- gluten food took too long to be replenished. Had to keep asking for bread, and for bowls, for fruit and cereal

The rooms, the beds very so comfy, the location, the beach (so beautiful) We will definitely come again! The pool was warm, but we mostly went to the sea, floor in the room could have been vaccum cleaned better;

The hotel is beautiful, it has new facilities and a nice pool. Breakfast and dinner were amazing, with many options in a nice restaurant. The hotel has an elevator. It is close to the sandy beach and 20 min walk from a beautiful cave which is absolutely recommended (the cave is not accessible for wheelchair users though, has many stairs.)

The breakfast buffet was amazing, and the alcoholic drinks were the best ones we had while in Canyamel. Facilities were beautiful and clean and location was very close to the beach and other activities. The only thing I would say needs improving is the quality of the blow dryers! My hair does not look good when left to air dry, it needs to be blow dried, and the dryers were old and cheap, they had a lack of settings and they heavily fried the ends of my hair. As someone who traveled internationally, packing space was limited and I couldn’t bring my own dryer, so this was a little disappointing.
