Everything was excellent, the food was fantastic, the room and cleanliness was superb and the location was very good.
-
Breakfast was excellent. A lady called Primrose made our more comfortable and enjoyable. She is really good in her capacity and manages the place well.
-
Location was very convenient. Staff was very friendly. Toilet was wobbling. The bathroom door is too big. Had to step into the shower to open or close the door.
-
Staff, food, room was very nice. The staff was always present and able to help. It was exceptional.
-
I felt safe and secure. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
-
Staff was very friendly and efficient Rooms are extra small and feel dated, bed was uncomfortable and we could hear everything that happened in the hallway, which meant waking up to everyone that passed by our door. Breakfast was not worth the price
-
Room was small with not enough space to walk between Bed and furniture. Room was not best value for money. Balcony was small too and name sake
-
The operation of the hotel is quite pathetic. Front desk staff wasn't able to provide basic task like giving change for local currencies.
-
Location to the ocean and boardwalk

This accommodation is simply wonderful. Perfectly located in the most beautiful area of Cape Town, with sea and mountains views, surrounded by several cafes and restaurants. The staff are very attentive, and the hotel is clean and well-organized. The fact that there is only one lift for guests caused some challenges on days when large groups arrived, but nothing that affected the stay.
-
The fact that we were a block away from the waterfront. The room did not have shampoo or extra toilet paper. The shower drain was plugged, and the toilet flush leaked. When I reported all this to the front desk in the morning, they said they would take care of it. When we returned nothing had been taken care of but they insisted that maintenance says it is all fine. The first morning when I was telling the front office what was wrong with our room, the front office personnel were more concerned about how I was going to pay for my coffee. I didn;t feel like they were really listening to me.

We were charged for the first breakfast, and while I may have overlooked confirming the details, the first receptionist’s response felt dismissive. Fortunately, the issue was later resolved smoothly — the refund and correction were handled properly, and other staff members were polite and helpful. In the end, everything was settled well, and we appreciated their effort. Overall, a pleasant stay in Cape Town, slightly affected by the initial misunderstanding.

Large room with great views. Excellent and responsive staff. Great location.

Had to order dinner from outside as the hotel was undergoing renovations. Not adequate supply of drinking water in the room even after making a request. Lack of toilet brush. Bathroom is small. Difficulties during check in (I approved for breakfast to be charged on my account when I checked in, but the next morning I was advised I had not paid for it).

Location friendly staffing great breakfast None
-
Location ・No conditioner, just 3 in 1, poor amenities ・Hair dryer didn't work well→asked bring new one→dryer gone →asked at the reception →didn't come forever, back to the room → cleaner came to bring it →the dryer is terrible dirty. ・layout is stupidly designed (for both of bath room and around the fridge) ・ bed mattress was too soft.

I left the hotel 2 days earlier than I initially booked and they charged me for the days that I did not stay. I booked the hotel through booking.com. Booking.com agent spoke with the hotel representative to change the check-out date, but the hotel representative refused.
