Everything was absolutely amazing. The only thing that I would say didn’t meet my expectations was the food. I had a burger that was absolutely delicious but other than that, I really didn’t like anything else.

I love how it was in the desert. The land looks so beautiful almost look like a screensaver. The limited restaurant options and how far it was away from other restaurants if you wanted to go out for a bite to eat other than the one and only restaurant they have for dinner on their property

I went on a trip here for my birthday and it was such a beautiful experience! I enjoyed the food, the ambience, the classes and cleanliness of the property. The staff were super kind and helpful throughout our entire stay. I will be back!

The plantings were interesting and attractive but I found the architecture oppressive and industrial. In had to leave to see any of the beautiful surrounding desert. The view from the dining room was mostly railings and clouds of mist from the outdoor cooler. Even though it meant kissing goodbye of prepaid day we were relieved to escape.

The staff was amazing everywhere but the main restaurant which was just okay. The rooms are big but there is no view. The carpets and some of the rooms can use some upkeep and love. The spas is outstanding and the people working there were amazing. Same for the instructors. The food was disappointing and just not what I’d expect at such a resort. Carefree is also far from Scottsdale.

Amazing staff, experience and resort

The hotel is really beautiful! The only disappointment I had is from the lack of availability of classes I wanted to attend to and had a long waiting list.

Everything was great

The staff are amazing. The property is clean and well maintained. The Spa was great. I wasn’t able to eat at the onsite restaurants but that’s not on them. As my husband wanted to adventure off property.

The property itself feels a bit older, though it’s clear it has been refreshed in some areas. It’s a smaller resort with just one main restaurant and a café, which keeps things simple but a bit limited. Service was decent, though not especially standout. A couple things to be aware of: the pool wasn’t as clean as we would have hoped, and the rooms are fairly basic. Also, if you’re sensitive to noise, I would recommend requesting a room away from the main entrances, as the doors opening and closing can be quite loud. Overall, it’s a nice, low-key place to unwind, with a spa that really makes it worth the visit.

The spa was relaxing. Just for awareness you would have to pay a separate fee to use the spa amenities
