Motel 6 Carlisle, PA - Cumberland Valley

Lots of kids roaming the parking lot later in the evening. Rooms show some wear and tear.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. It's right by the highway, very convenient.

The a/c in our room was not working properly a complained both days a nothing was done about it. Was so hot in room was sweating. Made it almost impossible to sleep.

We had sweep cobwebs in the room. We got something to do it from a reluctant desk person We will not stay there again and we do not recommend it.

Check-in was one of the smoothest I've experienced. The front desk associate was incredibly friendly, had excellent customer service, and happily accommodated my request for a ground-floor room. The lobby was clean, updated, and the check-in process was quick and modern. The location is excellent—right off I-81 with plenty of restaurants nearby and only about 10 minutes from both Carlisle and Mechanicsburg. Our room was clean, updated, quiet, and comfortable. The beds were great, the bathroom was renovated, and I appreciated the USB charging ports, microwave, and refrigerator. We were traveling with dogs, and this property was fantastic. There was plenty of space to walk them, the grounds were clean, and I even saw an employee leaf blowing the sidewalks. I also felt safe walking my dogs after dark. The only minor issue was that the AC wasn't always blowing very cold air, but turning it off and back on seemed to fix it. Overall, I was extremely impressed. Great staff, clean rooms, reasonable prices, and truly pet-friendly. We travel to Carlisle for dog shows several times a year, and I will absolutely stay here again. I've already recommended it to many friends!

Good location for my purposes, food choices not far and close to I81 entrance. The room has been updated except for bathroom. Everything in there was old and stained

Was in the room less than 10 minutes and saw 3 roach. I gathered my stuff put back in the truck. I told the clerk. All she did was take my name number and address. She said she'd tell the manager in the morning because she wasn't authorized to give a refund. 2 1/2 days later I've heard nothing from them. I wouldn't recommend to anyone. See above

We arrived early in the morning at like 2 AM after driving for 4 1/2 hours. we go into the room and there’s a roach on the door inside the room and then we look over near the bed and there’s five of them running around. We went right back to the front desk and told Christine that we would not stay and she was excellent. She had no questions asked gave us all our money back.

Small and quiet. No frills but comfortable beds. Staff was very helpful.

Do not get a smoking room. It was disgusting. There were bugs everywhere and the ceiling light in the bathroom was falling out of the ceiling ready to crash on top of me. The room reeked and made all of my clothes stink. I only got the smoking room because I vape medical marijuana, but at that point I would’ve gone to my car every time if that meant getting a better room. I already moved rooms after the first one was gross, and I got the second one and just dealt with it. Hopefully the non-smoking are nicer because my stay was very much ruined by that factor.

Helpful staff. Clean and updated rooms.

Inexpensive- you get what you pay for. Great for short smokers who enjoy a tub size ashtray and don’t mind ducking in the shower. Very worn. Bird droppings on the walks. Room had lots of beetles and could use new carpet and paint. Dirty walls and doors.No smoke detector in our room.

Clean room. Comfortable bed. Good parking.
