Very personalized and the staff really cared. Had a really great feel that you don't get very often. Couldn't be happier! Nothing!

Great jacuzzi in the bathroom. Comfortable bed and great hospitality from the staff. Breakfast everyday was great. Very expensive and should have a washer/dryer on the property.

The location is fabulous, a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. But in a very peaceful and safe location. We’d plenty of room as a family of 4 travelling. Sharon and the staff are wonderful, so friendly and welcoming with lots of great tips and also couldn’t do enough for us and all seen so genuinely happy in their job, well done to you all! We will be back Location, space, value for money, the breakfast is also lovely.

If you are planning a trip to Carmel-by-the-Sea, look no further than the Carmel Country Inn. Tucked away in a quiet corner of the village, it manages to feel like a secluded coastal escape while still being a quick, effortless walk to downtown shops, incredible restaurants, and the beach. The accommodations are stunning and designed for pure relaxation. Our suite was incredibly spacious, featuring a cozy fireplace and a luxury bath that made it feel like a home away from home. Coming back to a warm fire after an evening walk along the coast was absolute heaven. What completely sets this inn apart, though, is that it is exceptionally pet friendly. A lot of hotels just tolerate dogs, but the Carmel Country Inn truly rolls out the red carpet for them. From a personalized photo welcome and endless treats to a specialized pet washing station for rinsing off beach sand, they make traveling with your dog entirely seamless and stress free. To top it all off, the morning breakfast is fantastic featuring fresh local pastries and delicious quiches and the staff goes completely above and beyond to make you feel like family. We are already counting down the days until our next road trip back, and we wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else!

From the first moment we arrived the hospitality was remarkable. We were walked to our room and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, and dogs were welcomed with their names written on a chalkboard. It was calm, quaint, and we really felt taken care of. I definitely recommend it!

Guaranteed off street parking. The staff had exceptional customer service. Breakfast offered a great variety in a nice room. Easy 7 minute walk to downtown. Room was quiet and comfortable.

This inn is very cute and in a great location to explore Carmel. They had snacks laid out in the breakfast room when we checked in, a great breakfast in the morning (loved the crustless quiche!), and convenient packaged snacks to take with us when we left for our next adventure. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. There was a filtered water dispenser so we could refill our water bottles, and we loved the fireplace and tub in our room. Everything was clean, too! We loved staying here and would definitely come back if we are in Carmel again!

The room was nice enough, but needs updating. Breakfast was sub par. I was expecting freshly cooked breakfast at a bed and breakfast inn, but instead it was store bought pastries, oatmeal, yogurt and fruit, and a reheated quiche. We expected more from a close to $400 per night stay.
