WoodSpring Suites Carol Stream - Chicago

There was plenty of parking, staff was friendly and helpful, even though there were posted signs everywhere saying no smoking, vaping, or weed allowed at the hotel or within 500 feet of doors/common areas, basically every day during the one week stay the hallway outside my room and/or the area around the main entrance stank of weed, and there were constantly people smoking cigarettes right in front of the doors to enter/exit the property, literally so close that we had to ask people to move so we could even enter the building. On top of it all when we arrived at midnight the floor of our room was dirty and the bed was unmade so we had to make it ourselves. Would not stay again or recommend anyone to stay at this hotel

This is a flop huose, rooms by week or month. Had I only known, I would not have stayed there but it was too late to change. Expedia misrepresented this place. no hair dryer, holes in wall and bathroom door, rusted metal frame around mirror and light fixture, no carpet, just fake wood vinyl flooring, lobby closed from 5am to 9am, YOU have to take out garbage to dumpster or get charged $50, 'furniture' for aloset all open front (without doors) making it look like a gym locker room with everything out in the open. NEVER AGAIN.

My grandson has allergies And he was sneezing badly and he felt there was a dog or cat in our room earlier

Location was excellent and GM, Bree, was amazing!! Remembered my name from out first encounter. Room wasn’t clean - strewn with styrofoam particles that were never swept up. Floor was also sticky. Back security door lock broken, so always open. Bed high and mattress slipped off the frame when we tried to get in the bed!
