Busy, maybe full so saw it in all its glory lol. Room wasn’t ready but in by 4:30. Elevator limited to one; waiting on part so just bad luck for us. Limited parking. Is great location & two pools plus next to carnival & boardwalk so is great for kids/families/partying. We were able to walk everywhere. We’re retired so next time seek something quieter.

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had! I stayed there for three nights and had to change my room three times. When I went to check in, I wasn’t told that they didn’t have any of the room type I booked available. They just gave me two room keys instead of one for the suite that I booked. They gave me two rooms that were adjoining and I was traveling with two children so we had to take just one room with two queen beds. Second night we went into our suite which was fine but then our third day we came back and both elevators were not working in the hotel and we were on the 10th floor so after four trips up to the 10th floor I asked if my room could be moved which they were accommodating and did move me but again I went from the suite that I originally booked and this time I had a king room so the kids had to sleep on the pullout bed.

Only one elevator worked. We had to wait for elevator 3 times because it was full. It took us over an hour to checkout.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was excellent from start to finish. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The hotel is beautiful, well-maintained, and everything felt like it was at a very high standard. We truly enjoyed our time here and had a great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will happily come back again!

Very nice property

The room was dirty, the elevator didn’t work I am handicap and they made me walk up to the seventh floor up the stairs. Elevator has been working since May. This is August.

My experience at this hotel was awful,. The hotel has a responsibility to ensure that all essential facilities are properly maintained for the safety and convenience of its guests and employees. Having two non-operational elevators in a busy hotel is unacceptable and demonstrates a lack of adequate maintenance. This not only creates a significant inconvenience but also presents a potential safety hazard, particularly for guests with mobility challenges, families with children, and employees transporting equipment. Prompt repairs and proactive maintenance should be a priority to provide a safe and reliable experience for everyone.

Paid extra for a high rise balcony. The desk staff told us nothing about the elevators being broken even though a random man and maid in the hall told us they’ve been broke. For 3 days We paid almost 600 and had to lug our things up and down 7 flights of stairs with NO COMPS multiple times to go to the beach. no trash bags in the room and the mattress protector slipped off and exposed to a of stains on the mattress. Indoor pool was cloudy and gross looking. The Starbucks gave us half off for the issues but the food we received from them was terrible. Breakfast sandwich bread was hard enough to crack a tooth and egg was over microwaved. Whole place felt dirty and broken. HIGHLY DISSAPOINTED FOR 600 dollars for an 18 hour stay. Legs still sore from the constant hikes up and down stairs that night. Can’t believe they didn’t warn us.

The bathroom and shower were not clean at all. There were hairs and mold in drain

The property is a great location but you have to pay for parking. One of the elevators was broke and according to a local vendor it was broke for a whole year but hotel desk said it had only been a few weeks. Sure caused a lot of problems at checkout time and at dinner time. They lock the doors on the beach side of building at 11:00 pm so if you are out on the beach at night or at the amusement park you cant get back in the building with your door key. The only way to get in is by walking all the way around to the Front doors. All of the staff such as the Maintenance people and Maid service were were Great. There are motion sensors on the Thermostat and when there isn't any motion in the room it raises temperature on the thermostat which cause the room to get hot while you are gone to the beach or pool during the day. Overall it was OK but for the cost of the room you should not have to pay for parking or have any of the issues I mentioned above.

Beach view was great, but very few towels and elevator was broken.

Amazing beach

Property is not as described on website. One elevator running, service help had to use guest elevator, housekeeping only every other day. Would not stay again. Hard to believe this is a Marriott property.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Right on the beach, the perfect view for fireworks, and within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. This was our first time to North Carolina, and we fell in love with beaches here. The only reason we didn’t give it a 5 start was because the elevator is still not in use. I read reviews back in the spring that the elevator was not in use, so I was hopeful it would be fixed by now, but it was not. So at times, the wait was long getting up or down. Just a minor inconvenience. Overall, great hotel, staff, and location.

Didn’t like that one elevator was not operating Asked a simple request for more bath towels and staff were very annoyed that we asked. We did get the towels but staff attitude was not great Very crowded
-
It was oppressively hot and humid for both days. The indoor pool was crowded with kids. Finally it opened on Wednesday when the weather was cloudy and windy. The elevators had only one working and I couldn’t use the steps, the wait was long and many frustrated visitors. Waiting in the room for two days to enjoy the place was hard, and frustrating. We had to leave early Thursday because it is an 8 hour drive home. We have stayed here often and question staying there again?

Great location, comfortable room, friendly staff. There was the carnival close by and that was also really cool to be able to walk to.
-
The property is in the perfect location and accessible to the beach. During the time of my stay there was only one working elevator, which was a huge inconvenience given that they were sold out that weekend. Fortunately my room was on the second floor so I was able to walk to my room. Otherwise the staff was friendly and provided great customer service.

One of the two elevator was not in service, so we repective had long waits to go to the top floor (10) as well as waiting on the staff
