Hampton Inn Emerson LakePoint

Our favorite place to stop on our way to Florida. However it’s getting pretty expensive so this will probably be our last time here.

Was only here to sleep. Safe, quiet, and clean.

We were there just for one night as we were traveling to Florida but we had a wonderful stay a restful stay and clean contemporary rooms great staff and a decent breakfast in the morning we couldn’t have asked for anything more we will definitely put it on the list of preferred places to stay when we travel back-and-forth from Florida to Indiana.

The breakfast was really good. The room was clean and comfortable. The negatives were: I couldn't check in until 6, they have cleaning staffing issues, they finally changed my assessable room with a king bed for a double queen bed on the 4th floor. I tried reaching out to Hilton and they said they would compensate me for the trouble but they didn't. The pool was out of service for one day, they did open it but the water was green and I didn't feel safe getting into the water without getting some kind of infection. Because of their lateness getting me into my room I wasn't able to go hiking or swimming in the extra day I scheduled before my conference, it rained the rest of my trip so my trip was pretty much ruined for any activities that were above and beyond the conference for work.

Everyone was super nice, the room was clean and comfy - standard Hampton Inn hotel room. The breakfast was a pretty standard hotel continental bfast, but everything was fresh and well stocked. The location, it's not the hotel's fault, there just isn't really anything services wise around. A couple of fastfood places and a QT. I could have hopped on the highway and gone 20 min down the road but around the hotel itself, not much.

Check in odd time 5pm the day we checked in had to wait but staff were helpful during wait our room had carpet tiles they were slightly sticky to your feet but overall the room was clean

The room was clean & comfortable. Breakfast awesome. Love staying at Hampton, but little pricy and to add a pet was an extra $150. I am living off Social Security and traveling to baseball tournaments with my grandson does make it a bit difficult to stay at my favorite place. Love my Hampton Inns!

First and foremost, the 5:00 PM check-in is ridiculous especially since you still have an 11:00 AM checkout. Secondly, the air conditioner in our room made so much noise we had to turn it off in order to sleep. Then there’s the breakfast, the hot food was all cold at 7:30. We are in this area regularly and have stayed here before. We will definitely make other arrangements next time.

The stay was excellent! The only improvement I can see is the quality of the breakfast. Not bad but could be better.
