Location was just a mile away from hiking trails and beach. Very peaceful area. Staff was fantastic. The saltwater pool and lounge beds were fantastic as well. Don’t even get me started on the breakfast buffet!! Fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, scrambled and boiled eggs, hot milk for fruit and oat cereal, yogurt, pastries, 2 kinds of fresh fruit and coffee. All fabulous. This was a guest house that could easily be a 5 star hotel.

We stayed 2 nights. Loved the location, quiet surroundings, evenings after sunset. Did not have enough time to partake of the breakfast board of fare. We need a better direction system in the car

Facility is a little bit away from other activities but is quiet and beautiful. Breakfast is very nice. Staff is friendly and helpful. The pool is clean with warm and salt water. Nice place for relaxing.

Very accommodating staff. They made sure good breakfast even though we had diet restrictions ( Veg. and eggless). Very nice family owned place. I will highly recommend for family visiting this area.

Beautiful facilities, nice rooms, very unique, very good breakfast, pool was lovely and not too cold. Anna was wonderful and very helpful! She even gave us hot bread when we left because we had to leave before breakfast was served. AC in one of the rooms did not work. Some of our party found the beds uncomfortable. We also thought that at least water bottles and some snacks should’ve been free.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks for the truly lovely stay at Quinta Nova Vale Del Rey. From the moment we arrived, Ana warmly welcomed us and addressed all our requests and queries . Every detail — from comfortable room, thoughtful service to yummy vegetarian breakfast — made our stay extremely memorable. ? A special thank you to the lovely staff members (Ana, Susanna and Victor) for going above and beyond <3. Your hospitality made all the difference which we truly appreciate. We’ll certainly be recommending this hotel to friends and family, and we hope to return again soon!!

Our only dislike was that their were two single beds joined into one bed, unfortunately the sheets didn't fit well, during the night the sheets would come off

The pool area was great. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Excellent staff Nothing to add

You need to pay additional fees if you will check in in the evening. The room with a lot of beetles on the floor, was served only with one blanket for 2 persons (not a couple), and the water pressure in the shower was too feeble. The breakfast poor choice.

The location is incredible! The views from every room are spectacular! The rooms need blackout curtains and the mattresses and pillows could be improved. Breakfast was fine but simple.

Far from the center of the town.

Good

It was nice and secluded, with beautiful views and it was soo peaceful and quiet. The staff were attentive and very kind as well as welcoming. Maybe too secluded you need to have a car or an Uber to get around, otherwise no complaints.

We stayed here for 6 days in March. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was very tasty with different options every day. Since the hotel lies on a hill, it is very quiet and you have a very nice view from there. Since it was still a bit cold in March, the floor was very cold despite the heaters.

It had the look and feel of a luxury resort for a great price. We were very surprised at the size of our room and the beautiful private balcony with stairs leading to the pool area. The room was spacious and immaculate. We were met by a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome. There was coffee, wines, sodas, etc in the shared patio for purchase. We did not use the pool but it looked to be a wonderful place to relax. Again, it was so clean and tidy. The bathroom was large and modern. The room had a fridge. To get to the hotel, there was a gate which gave us privacy and security. Upon arrival you will get a remote to activate the gate. The driveway was recently paved. The area was beautiful and picturesque. It is off the main road so it is quiet. You are less than 5 minutes from the beachy areas and restaurants but it feels like you are in the country. Very nice buffet style breakfast with delicious juices, breakfast cake, and unique jellies. The only negative was the spiral staircase going to the room. If you have a large suitcase, that may be awkward. Also parking was a little confusing as there was a tree you have to maneuver around and there were no lines to indicate the orientation you had to park, but not a huge issue.
