the room was simple, which is what we were looking for. the view from the balcony and the top floor were incredible. worth it just for the view alone. not far from town. A bit more noise than we'd have liked. maintenance on the building starting at 8.45am most mornings. restaurant only available for bigger parties, which makes sense, but reviews all said the food was amazing, so a bit disappointing not to be able to try it.

Great family run hotel with a spectacular view of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. The food for breakfast and dinner was terrific. And the staff, led by owner Giovanna, were friendly and helpful. Great location to explore the area. Highly recommend.

The view was amazing if u get a terace. The staff friendly, and tidying room everyday Beds and pilloes are awful? poor hostel kind of breakfast. Need room renovation, and clean more properly.

The view was fabulous overlooking the sea, and towards Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius. The staff were friendly and made you feel welcome.

Magnificent view with balkony, very friendly, and helpfull staff, good chef, parking space{free}, homemade bakery for breakfast no kettle in the room, no swimming pool

The location is very beautiful. The rooms are clean. The staff was friendly. Spectacular view from the room. The dinners were delicious, insalata di mare with octopus was my favorite. If i will return back will definitely choose this place again. Many thanks! Everything was ok

Mama was amazing. Could not speak English, I could not speak Italian so we both work on our language skills. She was so nice and welcoming. And the Best Italian “Mama” hugs were had. Wished we had water in the suite and 2 chairs for the Balcony. Everything else was perfect.

Very beautiful, levely, cozy city and hotel. Seeing Vesuvio and Napoli coast from your hotel room was amazing! Loved the views, sea as well as cozy and beautiful narrow lanes. Pompei, Napoli and Sorrento are close - you can get there either by car or train, but Castallamare itself is amazing too: I really enjoyed funicular ride, mount Faito, Scavi di Stabia, street art, nature and views. Food was a bit of gambling - 50/50 - kind of hit or miss Overall I loved the experince and even though the city is quite small I'd like to come back there and explore items I didn't have time to explore this time roads gave me anxiety as a pedestrian, if you can drive and have such opportunity - do rent a car

The sea view was FANTASTIC!! Room was quite big and the staff was friendly. We get baby bed - it was great :) Shower was a little bit old and very tiny. But its not a peoblem :)
