The room was clean The ad said the location is in city center (downtown) whereas it was 37 minutes walking from it. The advised it had elevator but it was not working and I had to walk limping to the room, I have a knee problem and it was very hard for me. The advised said it has flat TV, it had about 13 inch TV smaller than my computer Monitor and no English speaking Channel, it has a few channels but all in Italian language, useless. More importantly the ads said it has break fast, but the breakfast was outside about one block away from the room and it allows only one solid thing like a cake and one drink. I have travelled all around the world but never had a breakfast the allows me only one item and only one time coffee or tea. All place’ breakfast value was more than 10 Euros that either it was part of the room or sometimes you pay to get breakfast , but it was unlimited sandwiches and unlimited drinks coffee/tea/juice/ect. Their breakfast value with their charges and prices was only 3 Euros (2Euro cakes , etc and 1 Euro for coffee) I wanted second piece of cake that asked me to pay 2Euros. That is unbelievable . After taking the bus from central station to go to the place, I rang the door many times but nobody answered, after ringing and waiting for more than 40 minutes on person called the office , 30 minutes later a guy showed up in a motor cycle, but said he forgot to bring the Kay and left. 30 minutes later a girl showed up that let me in, but she was very unfriendly. The lady host was very unfriendly.

The owner Claudio is a very sympathique person, the place is located near the center. At night you can go for dinner there are many restaurants with a tipically Sicilian food.

The property is near the historical sites so everything is walking distance. The host is also very accommodating even thought I cannot understand their dialect. Sometimes the noice from the street is heard inside the room but it is bearable.

The apartment was very clean but most importantly the host was such a nice and helpful person. I’m very disoriented person and he helped me patiently with everything. The only thing you need to know is that if you don’t speak Italian you need to text him and he will translate what you are saying. Overall perfect apartment with perfect host!
