B&B CATANIA CENTRO - Charme & More

It was cozy, cute, and located in a less touristy place. Made it feel more like a local and less of a tourist. Agnese went the extra mile and left flower petals on our bed with wine and chocolate for our honeymoon.

Agnese was a fantastic host, full of recommendations, quick to respond. The rooms are tastefully decorated, very comfortable bed, cute private terrace, lovely shared kitchen. Nice option for breakfast at bar downstairs in addition to a continental breakfast This B&B is very clean The elevator to 5th floor is tiny and quite old

You had to go to town area to eat as no restaurants to my liking close by.

I am holidays! Listenning to strict instructions about bahavor in the room, is frustrating. I uderstand that that the host might experienced bad experience with other guests but this should not be reflected to the other guests. Generally i do not like strictness in my holidays... i do not like listenning to what is forbitten!

Everything was absolutely perfect. The host was incredibly friendly, sociable, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. The room was spotless—immaculately clean—and full of thoughtful details that made the experience truly enjoyable. For example, arriving to find cold water waiting for us in the fridge on a 31°C day was very appreciated gesture. If I ever return to Catania, I will definitely choose this place again. 10/10 – highly recommended!

It was clean, great view of Etna and lovely balcony. Felt homey and comfortable. The host Agnese really wanted people to be happy with accommodations. Also nice markets nearby if you wanted to get your own food for snacks and picnics. Only about a 10 minute walk or so to historic part of town. Also a lovely park is right across street practically. Even though vouchers were provided for a lovely bakery across the street and there were some nice things available for breakfast right in B&B which were fine, the instant coffee offered in B&B was unappealing. It would have been nice to have some type of automatic espresso machine available in the mornings to start the day off. But other than that everything was great!

The host was super friendly and helped with a lot of visiting tips. Very clean, nice view to etna from the balcony, close to the Bellini Park.

The environment and the recommendations are host gave were amazing, and she was incredibly welcoming. Especially loved the breakfast arrangement she gave us with an amazing local cafe and pastry shop! Nothing!

The room was very clean, tidy and nicely decorated. The view of Etna, from the balcony was stunning. The location in walking distance to the centre, in a quiet neighbourhood. Agnese, the owner was really nice and helpful to everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay!!! If I come back to Catania, I will definitely stay to Agnese's.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was huge. We were able to access the communal kitchen. The WiFi was incredibly fast! The room we booked, a Deluxe Double at 258 sq. ft, wasn't what we got. Our room was considerably smaller than what was described on booking.com. I told the owner and showed her the description online but she said all the rooms were the same size. The price we paid was well more than it should have been. The breakfast was included but it was skimpy in my opinion. I was offered just one croissant and helped myself to tea and juice.

The host was very welcoming, the room was tidy and clean. Generally everything was to our liking. The breakfast selection was quite slim, but I guess this is costumery in Sicily.

Agnese's apartment is very well done, modern, airy and well air-conditioned. We felt comfrotable and most importantly welcomed the very first moment we stepped into her place. You can tell how much love and passion went into designing the space. Agnese provided simple breakfast every morning, with bio jams, yogurt and delicious juices every morning, cleaned the place every day and remained active online for any questions we might have. Included were also vouchers to local caffé, where we could get some delicious pastries and coffee. Highly reccomend the pistachio croissant with cappuccino! Doesn't seem like much, but with the heat and our leisurely activities, it was more than plenty. She also provided excellent tips on local delicacies to try, restaurants and spots to visit, which never let us down. Overall, Agnese is an amazing host and extremely warm, kind person, and hearing her talk passionately about Catania was heartwarming. Lastly, definitely reccomend rooms with views of Etna! We never got tired of her colossal beauty, be it morning or night.

Good

Everything fantastic! We were a small group of two friends. Both the facilities of the B&B, as well as the treatment from the host (Agnese) were really great. The air conditioning in the room worked perfectly, which was essential as we were there in the middle of a heat wave. The communication with Agnese was perfect, even before the arrival. She was always very nice and helpful and provided many tips on places to visit or where to go to eat. Also the breakfast was quite tasty. Regarding the location, in 10-15 minutes you are in the city center, and the neighborhood seems quite safe. To sum up: really recommended, when I will be back to Catania I would book this B&B again!! The views from the balcony are very beautiful, unfortunately due to the heat wave there was always this foggy nebline so most of the time we were not able to see the Etna, just the outline.

Location wasn't that bad. Breakfast fair , but the host was in a rush to get tid of us to accommodate other clients, probably checking how much we were eating. Mini fridge not working. A/c not working also.
