Very centrally located in an old building. Oscar was very welcoming and attentive. Breakfast good. It’s an old building that needs some love, lots of stairs, no elevator, not a problem for us but people might have a hard time climbing the stairs with luggage.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location, near the center making it easy to explore the area. We enjoyed having breakfast on the rooftop terrace, which offered a lovely view. The breakfast was simple but had everything we needed to start the day. We had a pleasant one night stay and we would recommend it.

Breakfast on the terrace had wonderful food and views. Challenging to find in the dark.

True authentic italian vibe here! Stuff was very nice and helpfull, helped with our ludggage because you have to take a lot of stairs to get there. Rooms were super big, with high ceilling so we felt like in palace! Rooms were clean, air conditioner in one room worked well in another so so but it was still enough. We had mini fridges in rooms and really good wi fi. Breakfast was the same all mornings but still nice because the coffee was really good and you can eat breakfast on the roof terrace! Very loud air conditioner and old house sounds like cracking wals so it was a bit hard to sleep first night.

Excellent location and close to all attractions. We were checking out in the early hours and our hosts provided a ‘to go’ breakfast for us which we appreciated. He also arranged a taxi during the early morning hours. We also appreciated the help we got with taking our bags during check-in/check out. We did not get a response to some of our messages sent on booking. Com. Nor did he respond to WhatsApp messages. There are a lot of stairs in the building so would be a challenge for those with mobility issues.

Location and staff were great. Air conditioning was not strong enough, probably due to the size of the room that was giant!

The property had a lot of character. We really enjoyed our room and the rooftop patio. Our hosts and the staff were exceptional, and went above and beyond for us in every way. We loved everything about it.

The staff was very friendly. Oscar was very helpful with our limited ability to speak Italian. Breakfast was very good and the location was excellent. It is an older property and could use some updates, but it didn’t really impact our ability to enjoy our trip.

Beautiful: place, room, view, breakfast with view,. Wonderful staff. Great, old appartement building. The room is large and airy with a great little veranda. Clean bathroom every day. We strongly recommend this place. The beds were to hard for us and what we are used to.,the pillow as well.

Location and spacious room

Traveling by train, this is an excellent hotel within walking distance from the station, and from everywhere else in Catania. The private court entrance and 24-hour desk service made it easy to check in early and return late in the evening after surveying the many good Catanian pubs. No hassle with codes or apps. Our room was extremely spacious, with window/balcony overlooking main street, but quiet at night because of the double doors. Breakfast is on top terrace overlooking the city and an excellent place to enjoy the sun or do some reading. The pickup location for our Etna trip (Red Etna by Marco) was few minutes walk and so was the morning fish market where they serve first-class fresh fried fish/shrimp/octopus in large paper bags. Several non-touristy restaurants are at close range near the Bellini theatre. Will go again here next time.

The room was very basic but very clean and quiet, located in a fantastic old building with tons of charm. Our spacious room had vaulted ceilings and a lovely balcony! The coffee and breakfast on the terrace every morning were a big plus, and the location was phenomenal - blocks from all the best piazzas and sights. The icing on the cake was that Oscar and staff were amazing and available for any needs. We will stay at Hotel Biscari again and certainly recommend it to our friends!! There is no elevator in this historic building. This was okay with us, but the hotel is a couple of flights upstairs.

The location is perfect. 5 minutes to the Cathedral and the bus stop to the airport is down. The hotel has old pallazzo charm. The room was incredibly spacious. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast with home made pastry, cold cuts, cheeses is served on the roof top terrace. Everything was perfect.

The hotel is not only in walking distance from the beautiful basilica, but there are bountiful restaurants and shops to explore nearby. The historical property with its cozy rooftop deck are stunning. And our host, Oscar, took care of everything. He carried our bags, served our breakfasts, even arranged dinner reservations for us.

The stairs (no lift)

The location. The friendly and helpful staff attentive to one's needs. A well served breakfast. Too many steps to negotiate, but not a deal breaker and not dramatic
