Location very close to station

As others have said, the neighbor hood looks a little tough, but when we walked up to Via Etna area all the people on the sidewalk were very nice, just regular people going about their day. You can also take the Metro, only one stop, comes up one block from Hotel.

Great location - right next to the station, on main room, but quet room. Very friendly staff. Clean and well designed room. Breakfast was very basic and limited.

Nicely run small hotel at a perfect location in Catania center. Next to the bus station outside the railway station. You can explore Catania from there (buy a day ticket for the bus). The kind receptionist showed us a list of recommended eateries. We went to 2 and both were very good. The room has double double-glass windows which perfectly keep out the street noise. Breakfast is good, esp. if you like sweet stuff.

Location is great, 5 minutes walk to the train station, 1 minute to the bus station. 15 minutes walk to the city center. Breakfast is incredibly good: lots of fresh fruits, variety of pastry, eggs, cereal, yogurt. Rooms are cleaned daily. The host Danilo is the nicest person I’ve ever met! Very helpful, friendly, responsive, always in a good mood, he treated me like I’m his best friend. Definitely recommend the hotel. Everything was perfect

Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was on the street side and was very quiet. No USB outlets. Also they sprayed smelly stuff in the room.

City center is a little far from Hotel, but its ok. Hotel is ok, room was very nice Breakfast dont too much savory options, only bread, salami and cheese, it is not enough for breakfast but.. There is a lot of sweet options and fruits ( for me its too much sweet and fruits for break fast )

I received a warm welcome (and great pre-arrival communication) from reception. The hotel is a half block from the Flix bus pick up, with shops and restaurants in every direction. The elevator was a welcome change, and the air conditioning was perfect! A suggestion: Please put a kettle and a drinking glass in the room.

Everything was fine. Nice hotel, clean and comfortable room. The staff was very polite.

Hotel is cozy , cozy room , 3 min from trains and bus station. Easy access to center Staff great , especially one guy in reception his name is Danilo- very kind person and supportive, was really my pleasure to meet him and ask his help

Location good (near Catania railway station and Airport bus). Content of breakfast also good. Bed not so good and the attitude of the staff either. Staff did not let me start breakfast even though breakfast time has started. They had to fix a machine first. Did not tell me what machine. This was annoying because I did not have much time to catch my bus to Airport.

Friendly staff who gave plenty of tips on what to see in Catania. Outstanding breakfast with plenty of options. Nothing.

We liked everything good location fresh ingredients for breakfast and staff always with a smile we felt really we are in our second home looking forward to ome back highly recommend Rigel hotel

Very clean and close to bus and rail station The area it situated in is pretty awful, rubbish in streets, very downmarket, not what we expected of the second city in Sicily. The hotel tries hard to be cheerful in very difficult surroundings
