Noice outside disturbing 2/3 nights due to street noice. Be aware of no elevator and need to climb many stairs .

Staff so friendly. Rooftop terrace for breakfast with swifts flying by and with views of cathedral. What could be better in the city. Cafe staff below so helpful.

Terrazza Santa Chiara is really well located nearby the main cathedral. The rooms are very clean, we had the big one with one double and one single bed. Very clean with nice balconies overlooking the main street. You can see the nearby churches and hear the bells. Despite the double glazed windows though, there is a lot of noise coming from the street; few cars are passing during the night and there are people just screaming. quite annoying. Not suitable if one has issues with sleeping. The bathroom is private but it is not in the room which can be uncomfortable at night. In general this flat with all the rooms and bathroom is well maintained and clean. there is a little fridge not working super well (my milk got frozen) but in the room you can make your own coffee. It would be nice to have a proper fridge and a microwave in the entrance hall I believe. The bathroom is very clean, you get soap and towels. the negative thing is the shower, very hard to adjust the temperature so you get alternatively burnt or too cold. not good if you want to shower your kid. the deceiving part was the breakfast: really basic with cheap sweets, bread, jam and cheese with ham and the juices are from basic supermarket too sweet. if you ask for a long coffee you get a nescafé , the espresso is ok. They should put more effort in the breakfast quality as this was more like a cheap youth hostel type. Sicily has very tasty fresh food and not so expensive. there is a very kind lady serving coffee, she is helpful and smiling. all in all our stay was ok since it was well located and clean.

The room was big, a little strange to have a private bathroom in the hole way, poor breakfast, perfect location, Nice staff.

The location was very good, it is nearly in the city center, less than 5 minutes by feet to the main square. Breakfast was not that bad but is on the rooftop what makse it much better. While booking you have to remember that bathrooms are not in the room, they are private but still you have to go outside your room. Bathroom - shower was extremely small like 50x50cm you could barely move plus one day we didn't have warm water at all, no idea why.

The location is good close to duomo and shopping centre. Palazzo bellini was visible from our balcony. It has all the amenities you require. It gets a bit loud in the morning with cleaners in the hallway. There are 3 floors of stairs so must be kept into consideration but then you are high up and double glazed balcony.

Only location Check in and check out process. Texted me via Whatsapp, what if I could not have the internet service?? They put the wrong keys to the keybox. There was no protection for the mosquitos on windows, inside was full of mosquitos. The bathroom was not in the room it was on the common area. Breakfast was full of industrial food. Bathroom shower cabin was very very tiny 60cm X 60cm size, I could not even reach my feet in shower. I had to have a shower with cold water, water temp. was up and down continuously. Room light cover was not on it was missing and the light was coming directly to my eyes. It was noisy from the street especially in the morning busy traffic noise. They asked me to pay cash at the end during check out. There is no elevator on building we had to walk all the floors and carry luggages to the top floor to room.

Very good location with big rooms in nice old building with high ceilings. Nice roof terrace. The bathroom was a bit of a walk from our room, but it was private and spacious.

excellent value for money. great location with a lovey roof terrace. Remote check in worked really well. Room is clean and comfortable. Private bathroom but down the hall. would be higher rating if ensuite but understand not possible. Overall great place to stay!

Everything was great, location is the best. 3 minutes walk distance from city center and few minutes to the nearest bus station. Breakfast was good, Italian sweet breakfast and amazing cappuccino with beautiful view from terrace. Because of our early morning flight the owner booked us a taxi to the airport, which meant a lot to us. Internet signal was weak and slow.
