The size of the room was ok. Breakfast more than ok and staff very friendly to assist in ordering. Outdoor swimming pool is only accessible when paying 20 euro/pp/pd for the whole SPA , which in my opinion is way to expensive and finally results in nobody being in or near the outdoor swimming pool. The location of the hotel is really terrible, definitely not a neighborhood to do evening walks. Actually there is nothing interesting to see in the near vicinity. The city center is way too far from this hotel and thus resulting in taking a taxi at least twice a day and that at fluctuating prices between 15 and 25 euro. The hotel does not provide any information by brochures concerning small excursions f.e. Taormina, Syracuse, Etna ..... In fact there is no tourist info available at all. The only brochures you will find concern information about SPA beauty products. Netflix not available on TV, although there is a button on the remote. When I informed, they told me it should work and they would have a look at it, but nothing happened. Finally, a 4 star hotel should at least provide a free bottle of water in the room or a small coffee machine with some pads, rather than only put some stuff in a mini bar and charge you extra for it when checking out.

Room: Meticulously clean, extremely (!!) comfortable beds, great shower. Lounge area: Relaxing, easy WIFI connection, "honesty bar" with a choice of snacks and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages. Breakfast: Very big selection of self-service items, plus a QR code menu to order additional items such as omelets, pancakes, etc. Staff: Super, super, super, from check-in to getting us to our room, to the breakfast. Parking: The hotel has very limited parking, but it seems to manage it very well. Location: Not in the city center of Catania, which, for some travelers, might not work, but for those travelers (like we were) transiting from Catania to other places in Sicily, it was great A real nit-pick: The square toilet was weird. Great facility, newly refurbished, clean and well appointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Aurora and Claudia. Breakfast was excellent with freshly prepared eggs and more. We were upgraded to a large suite - wonderful! While the hotel is wonderful and quiet for being outside the city center, it cost 20 Euro each way for a taxi into the center.

Excellent breakfast with lots of options.

Easy change- the music in the common areas (including the restaurant) is very loud, and the choices are bizarre. There was bad, derivative American country music playing for much of our time there, except for breakfast, when there was rousing music that would have been appropriate as the theme track for a movie scene with a dramatic storming of a castle. Please turn down the music and find something better for the guests' experiences. The location was challenging as we didn't have a car- our mistake - didn't realize we were so far from city center.

Everything about this hotel is great. The staff is amazing; Mano and the ladies at breakfast make you feel at home. Everyone is smiling and willing to do anything to make your stay perfect. The pool is so nice. The breakfast is the best.

The casual atmosphere still excellent. The breakfast buffet a delight. We did have dinner at the hotels restaurant, surprise ! The best délicate and light food ever. We did not bother to use our rental car and trust them with a private taxi. Much more convenient.

Breakfast was excellent, great variety, very good quality and very polite serving personnel. We stayed at the hotel during a period of reconstruction, which unfortunately was not mentioned at the time of booking. As a result, we were expecting access to the advertised facilities, including the option to dine at the hotel. The hotel definitely has the potential to reach a 4-star standard in the future, but during our stay, it felt more like a 3-star experience—except for the price, which didn’t reflect that.

A bit away from the city center which is good due to crowd and parking place stress. Large rooms and bathroom. Very helpful and kind staff. And really good breakfast.

Wow. We had a great stay. We really loved all of the staff--several of whom had studied English in the UK and spoke really wellThe hotel is tucked away in the middle of the city, and has beautiful grounds. The room was great. The only think I can say wasn't perfect is that the shower is quite small--really common in Italy, but a bit uncomfortable for anyone who might be planning to shave her legs in the shower, for example.
