Firstly Mr.Adragna was an amazing host. My flight was arriving at Midnight, and he was more than accomodating and guided me to his property from the Airport. This was my first time in Catania and he made it very smooth by providing all the tips to reach the property. Also he waited for me past his bedtime to give me clear instructions on how to enter and exit the property. His kindness made me feel at home. The Room was massive with beautiful view of the Ionian Sea on one side and the city view of the Theatros was nice touch. Having a personal bathroom was great. I had no issues.

The cleanliness was not up to par. The fan was dirty, along with the cupboards in the toilet

Exceptional

A lot of bedbugs, I killed 5 bedbugs with full of blood. I could not sleep all night. You can book it If you don't care about the bugs.

Good location, 15 mins from everything (center, market, bus). Clean sheets. Room has fridge. Beginning of April and there was central heating which is excellent! They allowed us using the kitchen. There is also few things for breakfast (tea, coffee, yoghurt, Sweets) Considering to put air refreshing device in the main bathroom and water heater in the room.

An historical building with renovations in a great location, right next to the train station, with a shared kitchen access. The host is really nice and helpful, and has a lot of attention to detail, e.g offering both natural and cold water, as tap water is generally not drinkable in Catania, and including EU adapters in the rooms, which most places overlook. Somewhere between a private room hostel and AirBnB experience, I absolutely recommend it to anyone wanting to explore Catania and the eastern coast of Sicily.

Home Adragna is situated in the center of the city, 5 min walk from the central train and bus station and 5-10 min walking from all the historical monuments in Catania. Gaetano is fantastic and always willing to help the guests. The room is silent with good air conditioner and the breakfast was nice

Friendly staff, x-size bed -3 persons room, standard equipped, very good location 600m from Piazza Duomo. Well connected from airport (Alibus) Very continental breakfast (basic one)

Big room, fan and open door worked well , breakfast , welcoming host Close to town Love the architecture of the old apartment block - is a classic Floors were a bit dusty- then again it’s Catania - and volcanic dust is everywhere Area if you go the wrong side - walking to lidl - stick to main roads - some very dodgy back lanes

The owner is very nice and chatty, and the location is good. He was very helpful and offered good advice and nice stories. I feel bad giving negative feedback, but with a few small changes, the place could be much more comfortable The room was filthy with women's hair everywhere. I had to clean it myself. I dont think the floor had been swept for a long time. The bed was like sleeping on a pile of tin cans. I maybe got 2 hours of sleep and no ac, which means it was rather warm even in the fall weather. The room needs proper cleaning and a new mattress like 4 years ago.
