many windows a lot of bugs, no screen. we had to keep the windows balcony close otherwise the bugs would enter by dozen... but we open the air conditionning all the other night
-
Showers were smaller to the proportions of the place, but manageable.
-
Enormous rooms. Perfect location. Noise during nights, bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
-
Very nice and cozy appartment with hight ceilings and in excelent location - walking distance from the city center and car parking nearby. The beds were big and confortable, the host was very helpful.

Appreciated the method of door entry. Really useful for three people.

All was nice. Thanks!

Interesting experience in an unusual building everything was ok
-
The noise, we could perfectly hear everything through that windows, so if you are a light sleeper that might be a problem for you.
-
Beautiful large apartment in the city centre and also close to the main train station. Communication with the host is excellent.

Size of Apartment THE noise is Ridiculous. Screaming yelling and heavy metal music till 3 am. Bars all around. Do not stay here if you want to sleep. To quote the owner. Do not stay here if you want to rest and relax FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE.

The apartment was clean and quite large. It is situated within an old building, which like most old buildings in Catania, has seen better days. Easy walking distance to the markets, and plenty of choices for eating out. The location without a doubt was the noisiest place I have ever stayed in my life. Relatively quiet during the day, but at night the popup gelateria/restaurants appear below your windows, attracting hoards of people, and incessant motorcycle noise from the patrons. Directly across the road the Heavy Metal live band and their followers crank the amps up to 11 in competion with the large volumes of road traffic that from midnight to 4am now seems all pervasive in the area, resulting in no sleep, and forcing us to cut our losses, and ditch our second nights accommodation for a quieter place. This must happen on a regular basis as we discovered some disposable earplugs in the bedside tables as we were packing up to leave. So travellers beware of this location in Catania if you like sleep at night.

The apartment is big, clean and very central. The host was very helpful. Unfortunately the property is located between two pubs/ night clubs on a very busy road. The result was heavy traffic, people chatting/ shouting, car alarms, cars beeping, very loud heavy metal/ rock music, bottles rattling from 8pm until 4am in the morning. Needless to say nobody slept that night (incl. 2 children). The apartment is nice and as I said the host tried to be helpful but that night was an absolute nightmare. If you are looking for a good night sleep, this is not the place.

Don't think there was a breakfast, but there are plenty of nice bars for coffee and pastries nearby. The apartment was large and spacious, refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine. Some games were there for our kids. The beds were extremely comfortable and I would like to know where Loris got them and the pillows from! I could have done with a warning for the main building front door....I was holding a child, opened the door using my phone and pushed my way in, only to trip and fall over the large wooden door frame (the actual door is inset into the larger one)...luckily I got off lightly and so did my son. Some more coffee capsules would have been nice (we drink quite a lot). Parking can be tricky depending on when you come back.

Everything was great. The staff was very kind and welcoming and answered all our questions on time. The rooms are huge and clean. The location is just in the city center and 10min from the bus/train station. The shower-cabins were very small but it wasn't a big problem.

Very good

Location was excellent. Apartment was roomy. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Noise. Needed earplugs. Traveller beware, noise from bars below and people in the street was very loud. Bathroom was retro fitted and shower was too small. Travellers need comfortable bathroom space. No toiletries provided other than liquid soap. For a 9.1 rating we would expect these. No information provided to operate television or dishwasher.

This apartment it’s huge and beautiful. So many rooms with two kitchens and two bathrooms. Perfect location. All the doors can be open from our phone without any key, that’s was cool.

The apartment was in an old building, beautiful super high ceilings, lots of balconies and huge windows with plenty of light. The antique floors and the décor of the apartment was exceptional. The location was great, very central. We very much enjoyed our stay. The host was excellent and he made himself available to help us with anything we needed. I recommend it. The only small criticism is that it could get a little noisy in the evening. The building is on the corner with a busy road on one side and lots of bars and restaurants on the other side, so it can get a bit noisy in the evening but by midnight it was pretty quiet so it was not an issue at all.
