The best location for that value. Rooms were spacious with great view of Piazza Università! The staff were really friendly and kind. The breakfast was scarce. Definitely some veggies and fruits would be nice to have.

Location. Staff were MIA for check-in; room was moderately clean (apparently corners don’t need vacuuming?), and the rooms are the opposite of quiet. Could hear every time someone coughed down the hall all night, every time someone came back from the bar at 2AM, etc. In the morning it sounded like folks were eating breakfast in our room; thinnest doors of all time. Weird steps in the bathroom are kinda cool. A friend of ours was trying to check in as we were leaving and the staff was as rude and dismissive of a guest as I’ve seen anywhere. Bummer.

Central location to walk anywhere! Cute balcony to look into the street below

Location is excellent - just a 20 minute walk to the central bus station, and the view from the balcony overlooking Piazza Università was perfect. The room was comfortable, with working air conditioning (a huge plus) and a cozy bed The property itself was good and breakfast was included (simple but nice: pastries, yogurt, cereal). The main issue was communication with the owner, which was stressful before arrival. When there was a problem with my card, my messages went unanswered for about a week, leaving us unsure whether our reservation was valid just two days before arrival. In the end, payment was taken at the property, and the girl who welcomed us was very kind and helpful. It seems like a miscommunication more than anything, but it’s something to be aware of. Other than that, definitely recommend this place.

The location was absolutely amazing — right in the heart of Catania, close to all the main attractions, shops, and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any questions we had. The atmosphere was warm and pleasant, making our stay feel very comfortable. Breakfast was simple but good, with fresh items that gave us a nice start to the day. There was no elevator, and carrying luggage up the stairs took some effort — something to keep in mind if you have mobility concerns. Also, the booking process wasn’t very clear. I believed I had paid in advance, but the card was only used as a guarantee, not for actual payment. It took some time and effort to go speak to the bank and clarify things, which was a bit stressful. Also, the toilet was outside the room, it was private only for us, but it was a bit embarrassing to walk from it to the room after a shower when other guests where coming.

The location of the B&B was really good. It is in the middle of the historic center. There isn't any entry system and another person has to let you in.

Good location, good espresso The wifi simply did not work. The room we stayed in, I would only get 1 bar and then it would disappear. I had a little wifi in the bathroom but it was not consistent enough to use. I had to go to cafes for wifi to make plans etc I had asked about check in before arrival because my phone is on airplane mode. The host messaged that I would come to the property for check in. There was no way to access the property and no instructions left for me. I had to get let into the building by someone else and find my way up to the b&b on the 4th floor. No one was there to check me in. I then had to turn on my data to message the host on the booking.com app that I was there.

Angelica is a warm host who made everything easy and ensured we felt comfortable. The place is unique, and everything is within walking distance, right in the heart of the city. The room is lovely, though it could benefit from a little updating to enhance the overall experience. However, it still provides a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and the charm of the space makes up for it.

It is an amazing place to stay. Angela was so helpful and kind. Wonderful ,comfortable and in perfect location to stay in the amazing Catania. I highly recommend. My husband did not like the amount of stairs to climb up ?to get to the B&B but it was a good exercise after all of the amazing food.
