B&B Ambitious

As a 38-year-old woman traveling solo, I truly appreciated the warm hospitality. Miko was extremely helpful, especially since I was arriving quite late. He went above and beyond to make specific arrangements and guided me on how to access the apartment smoothly. Originally, I had booked a single room, but Miko informed me about a larger room available for just €10 more per day. I decided to make the change, and I’m so glad I did! The room was impeccable with high ceilings, spacious, and had a wonderful location, surrounded by everything you need. Additionally, there’s a large kitchen area outside the room with tables, making it a great space to relax or prepare meals. I would definitely recommend B&B Miko to solo travelers, couples, and families alike. This is truly a great place to stay in Catania! Not applicable , since I really enjoyed my stay and went beyond expectations

Very clean and excellent location. Mirko was very helpful and responsive to our questions and was very amenable to facilitating an early check in that we were very grateful for! The AC worked great and very comfy bed as well. Would love to stay here again for a weekend in Catania.

Our stay at B&B Ambitious was fantastic. We were traveling with a baby and the accommodation there could not be better. It is in a very good spot, in a very safe neighborhood and only a 20 minute walk from the historic center. The room is spotlessly clean and spacious. The communal kitchen is also really great, clean and provides everything you may need. You can very well cook like at home. The host Mirko was extremely kind, helpful and always available. I highly recommend it. -

The location was great and the vibe of the building, room and a charming small terrace with flowers. The bathroom was not clean, especially a clogged and dirty fan. The shower and hairdryer were broken. I think it’s necessary to take care of this.

The b&b is located in the best part of Catania, close to Corso Italia and Tribunale. Very comfortable stay and the host is very responsive, thanks a lot! Nothing!

I stayed at this hotel for five nights in two different rooms. The hotel has a great location, with three supermarkets nearby and the city center just a 15-minute walk away. Both rooms had a silent refrigerator and a fully equipped kitchen with a cooking stove and microwave. Since I needed to work during my stay, I requested to move to a bigger room, which was accommodated with an extra charge. The single room was good for one night. The double room with a balcony was wonderful. It made me feel like a "King in the castle" (c) Borat. Jokes aside, the design of the room was the best I've experienced in Italy, simple yet quintessentially Sicilian. I would give this hotel 10 stars, but I have to be honest. The single room 6/10. It has small windows which barely get any daylight in. The shower cabin is only suitable for smaller individuals. At my height of 186 cm, it was impossible to shower comfortably standing up. Also, the bathroom fan was as noisy as an old Boeing 737 The double room also had an issue with the bathroom being too narrow. If you're a good-sized man, you'd definitely feel uncomfortable. Also, keep in mind the room has around a 4-meter high ceiling, which makes it hard to warm up in winter. The Wi-Fi wasn't stable. It was sometimes good for video calls, in another time the internet would drop for 1-2 minutes. The uploading speed was low

Good location, friendly and ready-to-help host, spacious and well-equipped room and common area. We have really enjoyed our stay!

The property is perfect for groups, it has big rooms and it is located near center and central station. In the night it was a little bit noisy but if the window is closed everything is fine.
