Yes, Catania was scorching during my visit but the accommodation felt like home, would 100% recommend and stay again

I liked everything about this B&B. The hosts were always available to help with any questions.the rooms were spotless, as was the shared kitchen with dishes, a hotplate, microwave, refrigerator (also in rooms), a washing machine, an espresso machine, and fresh oranges for juicing. The room was so relaxing, and my favorite was the large patio with an umbrella. There aren't many rooms, so it is rare to run into other guests as you come and go. It is convenient to bars, cafés, restaurants, and even a grocery. I would note that there is no airport shuttle. That was one of the main reasons I booked it, and that is inaccurate in Booking.com. Still, walking to the train station was worth finding this gem! It was perfect

Everything at this place was great - easy and comfortable check in, clean space, extremely helpful and friendly host that was available at all times, etc. It was cleaned every day, and there was washing machine and coffee machine available at the property. Overall, quite a pleasant stay and experience. I would say, maybe location isn't quite central. I was walking and it was about 20 minutes to get to the center. But I didn't mind it much, so not so bad.

Nice flat, very clean, close to the centre. There is also a kitchen where your day can starts with glass of fresh and cup of coffee. Antonio was a great host- thank you very much for your hospitality. It was part of our great experience in Sicily.

The location is on a quiet street which is great if you have a car. Finding street parking was easy. A short walk of 15 minutes and you start with the main attractions like the fish market. The host is very helpful. If you don't speak Italian, no problem, Google translate is your friend when communicating with the host.

Everything was perfect, the location is close to the bus stop, metro and is near to the centre too. The room was just like the photos , clean and comfortable. The host - Antonio is really nice and helpful. I highly recommend to stay in this hotel ☺️

Quite central location in a quiet street. Small terrace with little privacy but overall nice Very noisy room, we could hear clear voices, TV and even coughing from the next door room. Between my room and next door there wasnt a proper wall but platerboard… Even more so, the bathroom syphon (or water heater?) made a loud and vibrating noise when refilling water every time the toilet/sink/shower was used in either our or the adjacent room. Imagine waking up in the middle of the night by the activation of a loud pump because the guy next door has used the toilet …

Hotel was situated in old house, but interier loked so good. Beds was too soft.

We leave at 5 in the morning hours before the breakfast, but they had a common kitchen with all the amenities. the noise isolation of the rooms.

It is a very nice, clean and cosy place to stay in Catania. My room has a terrace and TV. There is also a kitchen where you can store your grocery shopping. B&B Verga is close to the city centre so that it is a very good starting point to explore Catania. Antonio is a super great host, a very helpful and warm person and cares a lot of your comfort. I highly recommend this place!

Nice, comfy room and friendly host

We wanted to have two separate beds, so we booked and paid (!) for a large triple room with 2 single beds and 1 double bed but we've got a double room with one double bed. It was difficult to explain as the staff did not speak English at all (we communicated via google translator). Within an hour we were provided with a small extra bed (not very comfortable) tucked in under the window, so it was very tight in the room. Luckily, we didn't have to unpack our luggage as we left the room early in the morning. Not so close to the main city attractions (20 minutes walk).

A really nice and helpful owner and the room was clean. The balcony is a quiet place to sit and relax. It's close to the city center by walking. The room walls are thin, so we could hear every word what the neighbors are talked the whole night ?
