Ok look…I liked the place the bed was comfy…the room was cute…but the towels had a HORRIBLE smell and when your coming off the beach and needing a shower with 2 littles in tow that’s the last thing you want…outside of that the room was good…refrigerator was a nice size but I think it was slightly over priced…

Quaint room with a lovely kitchenette. Many thoughtful details provided like utensils and towels. Made use of the barbeque two nights. Our hosts Mike and Ellen were warm, gracious and genuinely interested to know if everything was going well for us during our stay. Mike even helped us fix a problem with our beach chair! A vintage jewel in Cayucos. We will definitely be returning for another wonderful visit. That we had to leave after 3 marvels nights

The staff is extremely kind and always willing to help. It was a little out dated and the bed I slept on was stiff.

Ellen and Mike are amazing at making sure you are comfortable and happy. They have been working hard on this motel and more upgrades are in planning.

I found the smell of the sheets and the towels overpowering and too much for my sensitivities. The shower in our room made a loud squealing sound when turned on.

The location and the facilities including kitchen were great even though there was construction going on. The view of the ocean from #12 on the second floor was a bonus. We had a great time with our kiddo, and Cypress Tree Motel is perfect for a weekend family trip to the beach. Fun little restaurant right across the road and very close to the market.
