The breakfast buffet is okay if you don't mind the lack of sneeze shields and shared utensils. And the swimming pool is okay if you don't mind the attendants bothering you. Actually I guess I'd rather the attendants dialed it back a bit, constantly hovering at the buffet. Although there were times when my water glass remained empty for some time, and the constant rushing past you. And constant greetings can take a toll on a weary traveler. The beds were okay, though the pillows were difficult to fluff. Somehow they've cracked the issue of smelly, sweaty pillows from previous guests, because I didn't notice that at all. It's too bad the desks are too small, the outlets loose in that plugs don't stay plugged, and there's always some kind of broken thing in the bathrooms, this time the sink drain plug revealing an icky, rusty, bio film coating the drain beneath. I called to ask for water to be brought up and was ignored, but when I called again it was delivered. Outside, the infrastructure, sidewalk, traffic, are unacceptable. I shouldn't have to dodge debris, knee-height random ropes, giant curbs, broken curbs, uneven sidewalk, tree roots, garbage, beggar children and traffic to get to the 7-11 or nearby restaurants. Nothing has changed since I was first here in 2003; nothing. And you know the reason. And the fumes made me sick, including auto exhaust, diesel fumes, spilled gasoline, varnish and paint, and the dry, poorly filtered air conditioning. Bronchitis is the diagnosis, antibiotics prescribed, and I'm lucky it's not worse.

Great location, comfortable and friendly staff. It’s our second time coming to this hotel. It became our favorite every time we came home for vacation in Cebu.

The hotel was lovely and the room was great! Our door broke the first day and we had to wait to get it fixed! The second morning the safe broke and we wanted to leave the room for the day but we had to wait well over an hour for someone to come and fix the safe so we could take our money out of it! The staff were very friendly but we did lose time in our only day in Cebu

The room was very big, so we felt comfortable during our trip. We also enjoyed the pool on the roof a lot. Thanks for a relaxing stay within the busy city! Nothing comes to mind.

I stayed at this hotel with my mother for three nights, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone. The rooms were spacious, the pricing was very reasonable, and the location was perfect. What impressed us most was their outstanding service. We had booked a room with breakfast included, but since we had to leave before 5:00 AM for two of the days, I assumed we would have to miss it. To my surprise, the hotel offered us "breakfast to go." Even though the kitchen wasn't officially open yet, they prepared a lovely simple breakfast along with fresh hot coffee for us. Their staff are truly wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Totally satisfied! Nothing to complain.

The breakfast was exceptional. It ruined me for other breakfasts. I did not get a chance to go into the pool, but the pool area was beautiful and I enjoyed spending time there. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful with booking extra activities in Cebu. This is more my problem than the hotels, but the 2 days I was unable to go to the breakfast buffet (I did enjoy the to-go breakfast) I was so sad to miss it. While I appreciate the to-go breakfast, I wish it could have been better! Great breakfasts!
