Quality Inn at Collins Road - Cedar Rapids

The afternoon manager was very helpful in recommending eateries in the area. Staff was pleasant. All was good. My room was on the west side of the building and a larger building was very close, so the room did not get much sunlight, The room air conditioning seemed dank.

Clean room, breakfast had variety. Good bed

No ac in room. It works just no Freon to bring in cool air

Room 132 had black spots in bathroom from room above??

My main concern was safety. A sign at the front entrance said the hotel was not responsible for vehicle theft or items stolen from vehicles, which made me uneasy about parking there. Overall, the friendly staff was a plus, but the parking lot security concerns would make me hesitate to stay again.

Very helpful with my early checkin as I have a bad back but I was not able to secure an hour later checkout which was difficult as I could not get a ride in til noon

It was a very comfortable place to stay. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The room was very nice. Breakfast was well prepared. What more can you ask for?

Breakfast was not edible. I was the first one in at 6am. Eggs were way overcooked and very chewey. Coffee was luke warm and tasted like it was watered down

In general place needs upgrading. Carpet looked dirty. Staff checking us in was not friendly.

The staff was nice and helpful, but the cleanliness was a real problem. We checked into our room and we noticed it had mold on the ceiling bathroom, stains on the sheets, hair clumps on the sheets, and a couple of flies buzzing around. The hotel staff kindly gave us a new room after hearing our bed was dirty. Unfortunately, the new room smelled heavily of marijuana, the refrigerator did not work, the towels had stains on them, the mirror was broken off the wall, and we found a cockroach roaming in the bathroom at night. I would not recommend staying here. My husband and I don't require fancy accommodations. We just ask that the room be clean.

It was a place to sleep and it was available when other hotels were full. I can't remember the last time I stayed in such an unpleasant, poor-quality hotel.

Pillows It smelled overwhelmingly musty and gross. A bug was found in the hallway. The towels weren't soft

Room was very clean & AC was working great. Breakfast was good &hot. A lot of stuff close by to do & restaurant close by.

They gave me the wrong key and I walked into someone else’s room while they where in the shower I told the front desk and ZACK said oh sorry and when I told him I wanted a refund or discount he said I can’t stay somewhere else if I want. Meh. Waffles powdered eggs sausage cereal Main parking lot was being resealed and unavailable.

Property was badly dated and appeared dirty. Random loud noises throughout the night. Won't be staying again.

Room we're dated but clean and served it purpose of a one night stay. Breakfast was good, eggs, sausage and waffles.

Too dirty

It was quiet. The exterior needs a refresh. The interior had updates that improved the rooms, but there are still improvements needed to fully modernize and improve it.

Everything was fine.
