You can not get any closer to the center of everything than this beautiful place. The young lady who welcomed us and met us for breakfast the next morning who is working there was very professional, extremely friendly, and we had an amazing conversation. Everyone we met were super helpful and nice. Breakfast is great. Well worth the money. I have nothing negative to say. Everything was as we expected it to be and more.

Location was in the old town and close to all the sights. Bathroom curtain does not cover the window. We put pillows on the window sill for privacy. Sewer odors from the shower drain filled the suite. Room was cold. Heater is in floor and was not warm enough.

Really everything The location was fantastic, room beautiful and breakfast was wonderful. Our host, Kristian, was very helpful and accommodating. We highly recommend this pension. Internet did not work on the top floor.

Design elements

Awesome location, friendly staffs, and quiet location. I didn’t like the fact that I need to carry a physical key, a card, and a token to open the main door. Really minor or non issue.

Excellent location in the heart of the old town. Tucked away in a side street which was great for sleeping. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful.

The location is absolutely perfect—just an easy 3-minute walk to the main square and about an 8-minute walk to the castle. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. Eva greeted us at check-in and was an absolute gem. She took the time to chat with us about Český Krumlov and Prague and shared fantastic recommendations that truly elevated our trip. We tried both a dinner spot and a cocktail bar she suggested, and they were outstanding. Our room was beautiful, incredibly comfortable, and an amazing value for the price. Everything about this stay exceeded our expectations. If we’re ever fortunate enough to return to Krumlov, we will 100% be staying here again.

Pension Kristian by KH is well-located and newly renovated property in Český Krumlov, and we appreciated their attention to detail in terms of comfort and furnishings. Their towels were large -- and soft -- and the bathroom was expansive and clean. The large room (we were in Room 1) had a very comfortable bed, and it was beautifully decorated, with curtains that blocked light yet could be opened fully. The lighting in the bedroom was aimed at a relaxing level, but was fine for reading our devices and computers. To that end, the wifi was great! Eva prepared us a delicious breakfast, with yummy scrambled eggs, breads and fruit. I appreciated her suggestions for dinners in town (we would add *My Saigon* as a possibility), as well as places to see (the Castle gardens!) and she worked to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. We took her advice and walked up to the castle at night to see the town, and that was one of the highlights of our stay. I highly recommend Pension Kristian by KH! We enjoyed everything about Pension Kristian by KH. I didn't like that we only had two nights there, and wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you, Eva and Kristian!

We loved everything - the location, the couple who ran the pension, the food, the room, the comfortable bed - it was perfect! It's a small hotel, so you can get up at any time and make yourself coffee in the morning if breakfast isn't ready yet. I highly recommend it! Plus it's located perfectly on a quiet cobblestone street in Cesky Krumlov! Loved everything. No negatives.

Perfect clean and just love it Everything

The design of the property and care in the renovations was excellent. The owners were attentive and communicated quickly. They had excellent recommendations for places to eat and drink.

Cute little place with comfortable beds. Very clean. No air conditioning means having to leave the window opened and hearing every noise on the street.

Pension Kristian was fantastic! Eva, the owner, welcomed us warmly and showed us everything - she was very kind and polite. The entire building is beautifully renovated with an elegant yet simple interior design. Our group took 4 rooms and everyone loved it. Our room was spotless, and we especially appreciated the air-conditioning on a hot day. We also opted for breakfast, which was absolutely worth it - fresh and delicious! The location in the old town was perfect. The parking lot is a bit further away, especially if you have lot of luggage. Not an issue for us but could be for some with less mobility.

Beautiful clean room with comfy bed! I had nice view from the window as a plus. Love the terrace and complimentary coffee/tea. The receptionist was exceptional! Great service! There is nothing we didn’t enjoy!

This gem is perfectly situated in the heart of the town. Several things were especially notable. The first is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They were so accommodating and I felt so welcome. Second the bed linens were of an incredibly high quality - super comfortable. Finally, the breakfast was really superb. Overall, one of my favorite places to stay! Nothing - everything perfect!

It’s clean and very convenient to walk to any place The toilet seat is smaller, not the right size, not very comfortable when use it.

Most has no A/C

I will certainly recommend it and if I ever come back, I will stay there. I didn't feel very comfortable in the bathroom area with the window overlooking another window in a guest house and the fact that I didn't think the curtain was long enough to completely block the view.
