The hotel was amazing nothing

The property provides private access to a pier with beautiful clear water, with beach chairs and umbrellas. This was the best part of staying here. Otherwise, the building and the room were cute and the staff were friendly. It was nice having breakfast outside on the patio in the morning. Overall, the hotel is probably a bit overpriced. For what we paid, I would have expected a little more. For example, getting to the hotel from Izmir Airport required two separate buses, and it wouldn’t have been outrageous for the hotel to pick us up from the final bus stop, instead of getting us to take a public bus stop. I would have also expected the room to be slightly bigger for the price paid, and there is no kettle or fridge which is a bit annoying. Finally, and maybe this was actually the most disappointing, the bathroom smelt quite bad. Like sewage or something. We didn’t complain about it at the time, because we assumed there was nothing which could be done about it quickly. But we noticed it and it wasn’t pleasant. Also, the PowerPoints were not in convenient locations.

I really liked everyone at NARS made us feel welcome and they were very friendly, thank you Selen for making our stay enjoyable! The hotel itself is very beautiful and comfortable as well - don't think further, you will love NARS :)

Couldn’t ask for a better place to end my tour around Turkey! Perfect to relax in the beautiful bay of Ilica! The decor was lovely, the room view was amazing, combined with a local delicious breakfast… the staff is extremely helpful and nice! Highly recommend Nothing

Friendly staff, clean, very good location, beach access, amazing breakfast with sea view, perfect boutique hotel style, highly recommend. Nothing, everything was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay a lot

Design of the room and the interior design of the hotel was charming. Staff was nice and polite. Sea is wonderful. Noisy as the hotel is an old building; we heard watering noises from outside and noises of the guests upstairs non stop every night during our stay. Even though the room looked clean, there were cobwebs and we killed three spiders in our room. The breakfast was so slow, we were served with dirty plates (with food leftovers) so asked for clean ones, we were also served with cold and solidified pastry (which we asked for fresh ones). Car parking might be a problem depending on the time of your arrival as the hotel does not own its own car park (despite the fact that it is stated on Booking that it has one), the public car park area can be full.

We were treated really well, so before everything else I call out the people at the property. Secondly the location is great, it is very close to main attraction spots like Alaçatı. If you need peace, Nars Ilica is great too. Last but not least, the property has a private access to sea. The private beach front turns into a restaurant at 6pm, which I find too early since it is the perfect time for an evening dip and enjoying the view of sunset.

The staff were exceptionally helpful. The breakfast was delicious, varied, and huge. If you're after a lazy holiday lying on a sun lounger, in a beautiful location, and the occasional dip in the sea followed by visits to lovely local sites, cafes and restaurants, then this is for you!
