Logis Hôtel La Villa Boucicaut is located just 10-minutes’ walk from the historic city center of Chalon-sur-Saône and 4 minutes from the TGV Chalon S/S Train Station. The hotel was beautifully furnished with many interesting books, pictures and artefacts. Felt like a boutique hotel. A little oasis in not a particularly pretty part of town. The lady who ran the hotel was extremely helpful arranging taxis for us and generally being very welcoming and professional. Breakfast was a little clunky mainly because it is not done in buffet style with ordering the night before but perfectly fine and just a suggestion to have milk left out in a jug to save having to ask the waiter for more all the time!

Spacious and parking on site. Also has space for locking bikes securely in inner courtyard if needed. Decor a bit tired but perfectly comfortable.

Secluded courtyard off the road, 15 minutes' walk from the centre. We enjoyed the quirky furnishings and antiques, and the public spaces downstairs looked attractive. We had an enjoyable evening in the town's main square rather than the recommended isle restaurants. It was slightly irritating to have to choose breakfast the night before. The person on duty was perfectly OK, but was not exactly warm and friendly. However, we arrived quite late and left quite early and so we didn't really have time to appreciate the place.

Parking was available, the studio room was so quiet, only the sound of birdsong in the morning, no traffic noise. Most hotels make the bed every day and change the towels but not here. Strange.

Location was brilliant; reception fantastic; studio very good. Secure bike storage; secure wifi. Provided a fan for cooling studio down which was bearable. Studio quite dark during day light hours.

We had an excellent time! The location was very convenient and the facilities were lovely. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff was very helpful. I don’t really have anything negative to say about our stay! It was lovely.

Bed was lumpy. Heaters didn't work. Shower was dangerous. Couldn't Shower without the dirty curtain hitting me. It was not a good value compared to other places we have stayed in Burgundy.
