Having booked and paid in advance there was no trace of the booking upon arrival, which meant a long check in. I had booked a twin room, I received a single. Very small room, very poor value for money. No Iron available in the hotel. Very poor quality towels.

Comfy beds free parking Wasn’t much to like about it, when there was no staff the one we saw for a second seemed grumpy.

Location is very good. Bus stop is 100m away. Local bus is free. Bed is comfortable. Excellent value to money. Rooms are compact. I missed fridge in the room.

Location ! 2.5km from castle hippodrome and cafes bars etc and cheap as we were there to take part in a sporting event We had our bikes with us ( expensive !) And we were told that we could keep them in our room, so up 2 sets of stairs and the bikes took up all the space! The rooms are tint and very noisy with a car wash in constant use under the window !

All...Especially nearness to the Buffet Chinese Restaurant. There is nothing I didn't like about the place.

Familiar place. Facilities are basic and a bit below what one would expect these days, but they work. Staff very kind and helpful. Getting a bit worn down now. Would pay a bit more for a newer shower. Breakfast is ok, but again, a slight improvement in format would not hurt.
