The Bad: Although I booked several weeks in advance, we received a call from Expedia the DAY of the stay while on route to the hotel, stating that the Hyatt was overbooked, even though I previously paid. Very stressful after being on the road for a couple hours already & had to pull over to find a solution. In addition, the man on the phone had a thick foreign accent & difficult to comprehend. Upon arriving, luckily someone cancelled so we were able to get back into the Hyatt. The public parking is deceptively expensive if you exit your car at all. The rules state $3/hour and $24max/day. However, there are "no in/out priviliges", meaning you pay when exiting and get a new ticket upon re-entering. The timer resets at midnight so, by 8am you are already at $24 before the day even starts. Just leaving once/day for a couple hours ended at $48/day... significant after several days. The max is actually $72/day if you happen to leave/return at 8hr intervals. I mentioned to the hotel manager that this was unexpected & he said many customers are surprised by it. It is a money grab that left a bad taste in an otherwise good stay.

Clean rooms and the staff super helpful and friendly
-
Tasty breakfast clean roo,, After breakfast there was plenty of coffee but no half and half
-
clean, helpful staff and good breakfast
-
Very close to everything The entrance is very difficult to navigate especially when another car is leaving. And with the amount of people that walk it can be hard not to hit a pedestrian leaving.
-
Great experience. Staff helpful and friendly
-
The rooms with the island and kitchenette are so great. Pleasantly surprised. This hotel is on King street and close to great restaurants and bars.

We were upgraded to the Lowline and the entire stay, staff, room, and overall experience made our first stay in Charleston more much unforgettable. The only two bvery minor things were our room view was not great. The TV channels alos did not match the TV guide.
-
Location No parking. The hotel shouldn't exist if it doesn't have free parking for its guests.
-
One of the nicest hotels we have stayed at. Great staff, breakfast and room . We loved it.

Very comfortable room. Helpful staff and conveniently located.

We enjoyed our stay

Parking was terrible, you’d only be able to park on among street and sit not it’s the city garage and it’s a lot of money daily. So consider parking then staying here. Defiantly added a cost to my trip.
