Everyone was so helpful and pleasant. We stayed in a room with 2 beds on the courtyard side and the beds were very comfortable. We were right near King st where shopping and restaurants were an easy walk. The free Carta bus was right across the street. Again the staff made the experience wonderful, they couldn’t have been nicer.

The best part about staying at this property is its location; so much is within walking distance. However, there are some challenges regarding the age of the building. The 2nd room given upon my check-in (The 1st one was unacceptable) had 2 dresser drawers that wouldn't stay closed. Ultimately I had to wedge tissues between the drawers to keep them closed. There were also issues with the shower. Overall, though, it was a comfortable place with a friendly staff.

Room a little outdated but spacious

Great location

We had meds to keep cool and no way to do that. Staff promptly showed up with a little refrigerator for us to use. Great location as the visitor center is right across the street. Our room was well maintained and comfortable. Staff was very helpful.

Loved everything about this hotel!
-
Room was very clean and a nice size. Bathroom was clean and lots of room for 4 people to share. Room had no refrigerator or microwave which I found odd as I thought that was just standard in most hotels. Beds were comfortable. Would have given 5 stars but weird with no refrigerator. Free breakfast was decent with good scones and coffee everyday. Waffles and oatmeal were good too. Eggs weren’t bad for hotel breakfast. They kept the breakfast well stocked. Walkable to College of Charleston and King street.

The location is A+. Just 10 steps away from the visitor center and all your buses and Free Charta. Walking distance to several very good restaurants and boutiques. Pool was shady and clean. The staff was so helpful. Directions/reservation suggestions/places not to miss/ decent breakfast and great coffee. The gym was just right for quick 30 minute workout in morning.

The room was clean and comfortable. We had breakfast there every morning, and coffee was available all day. The staff was very helpful and answered all of my questions about Charleston. The excellent location enabled us to park the car and walk all over the city, as well as walk to the water taxi. We would definitely stay there again.

The room smelled musty when we arrived but that disappeared in a day or so. The carpet could use changing. The toilet ran for 45 minutes before being able to flush again. Maintenance came and that went to 15 minutes. The breakfast was fine and the staff was helpful. The location is great. It’s right across from the visitors center where several tours pick up. It’s also right near a bus stop for the free downtown bus. The price was great for the area.

Fantastic location! Clean room, towel refreshes. There’s no market to buy things from so stock up on snacks and drinks.

The staff was knowledgeable and helpful about the area. They assisted with a smile for all our needs.

Good Location ,Great Staff, feel like the room could use an upgrade. Some mold in ceiling and leaking of the faucet and trembling of pipes.Over all we enjoyed our stay.Would stay again but for the price might try another Hotel.

The hotel is great, quaint and comfy. It’s not a brand new hotel but that is part of its charm. It’s walking distance to many of the sites in the historical district. Try the Coast restaurant and Rue De Jean next door. The parking is a little pricey though.
