Great hot breakfast buffet. Relaxing environment. Super outdated facility. Needs new carpet, exhaust fans in bathroom, and key card entry at all exits.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was a little friendly. The breakfast was very good, best breakfast included with hotel stay I have ever experience, usually you have to pay for breakfast. The parking was very easy. But $50 a day for valet, I find it a bit high.

Staff was wonderful, fun to be in an armory, great evening reception with free drinks and snacks and my daughter loved and fully utilized the pool. She will miss our pink hotel!

This place needs a major renovation. Felt dirty, carpet with coming up, wall was falling off, toilet was leaking, room smelled musty. The only thing this place has going for it is location. I understand Historic vibes but this place needs help.

Everything abouy out stay was great. From the room, staff, breakfast, parking. The proximity to everything was perfect for us. When staying here, do not hesitate to ask any of the staff for whatever you need or for recommendations. We will definitely be staying here when we come back.

property needs updates; bathroom had peeling wallpaper, rust, terrible shower head, toilet seemed like it was frankensteined together with pieces from other broken toilets. smelled musty when we first got there, maybe room wasn't occupied recently? housekeeping was good, areas were clean, but the need for updates made it seem dark and "dirty". price was comparable to newer hotels in the area. location was good, one block from king street and shopping, 10 min walk to market.

Gorgeous historical location…

Room contained outdated and uncomfortable furniture. Shower (4th floor) had very poor water pressure. Parking very expensive ($50 for valet and $23 daily for parking next door).

Clean and the front desk staff were awesome

We only stayed one night however it was really great! The room has some wallpaper that’s getting old and starting to peel but the beds were so comfortable! The bathroom was a bit dated and the drain in the tub was slow and my shower was turning into a bath, but the water pressure was good. The breakfast was very nice and the attendants in the breakfast area were really wonderful! The best part of staying here was that they allowed us to bring our two pups! They are our children and we always bring their crates and they are well behaved and house broken. We do not allow them on the furniture. It was wonderful to have the ability to stay in a nice hotel with them. I Hope that I can come back soon and spend more time in beautiful Charleston!

Location of the property is great and staff were super welcoming and helpful. Maid staff was very nice and thorough - rooms were clean. But overall hotel is very tired and worn with stained, torn and loose carpets in rooms and common areas, wood doors and fixtures are badly scuffed and chipped and bathroom showing its age, tv has no streaming and outlets need to be replaced - overall refresh is desperately needed. While staff is top notch from front desk to maid service to valet and bartender - condition of property is run down and not up to brand standards for Embassy Suites.

Shower leak constantly, couch with worn out, paint needed touch up, palmetto bugs, staff unable to handle volume of people for happy hour.
