Holiday Inn Express Suites Charleston by IHG

The facility was very clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We had to return to the front desk the first two days to get out keys reactivated. Our room was not cleaned for 2 out of the 3 days we were there. We had to ask for clean linens. Finally, on the last day when we returned and the room had not been cleaned again, they lady at the front desk got housekeeping to come promptly. They picked up most of the linens, emptied the trash, remade the bed with the same sheets. The floor had not been attended to in some time because the floor was filthy. It was swept but had not been mopped in ages. My husbands white socks looked like he had been walking outside all day. Also, the room and floor was humid. The floor actually had moisture on it and we had to keep a towel by the bed to dry our feet before getting into the bed.

Rooms were dirty. There was mold on the shower curtain and walls. Do not recommend this hotel. It’s definitely not up to holiday inn standards.

It's an older hotel with a modest facelift. It was as expected based on previous reviews. Room smelled strong of air freshener and was humid (we switched rooms and it was the same), the hallway was around 80°, and the elevator was sketchy. The folks at the desk were really friendly and accommodating, and gave us a late checkout. Staff were great. The quality didn't seem to line up with the cost ($180).

Hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. Hotel is located in a favorable area that’s close to a lot of restaurant options. Rooms were clean and comfortable. This is a good option for the price.

The way people parked in the parking lot taking up 2-3 parking spots . They parked sideways especially late in the evening . I also had to get another room because the room I was in smelled awful and crumbs were in the floor and brown stuff stained on the chair

Great bed and service No clock in room. No bars of soap for bath tub. TV not accessible from my computer.

The room provided was filthy. There was urine stains on the floor in the bathroom. Only 2 bath towels provided for 2 adults and 2 children. No hand or face towels. The front desk was contacted and they provided another room which was satisfactory.

the room ac wasnt working right the bed had humps in it and the bathtub had not been cleaned rings around the tub and mold around the seal of the tub

Nothing!!! We paid for a king suite, $213! More than I paid for a beautiful king suite in Nashville on broadway! The room had a very strong smell of chemicals, tub was dirty, toilet was clogged, refrigerator didn’t work, no cable or even local channels, 1 antique elevator that never seemed to come down, we had to take the steps with our bags! The rear of the building had lots of trash and partying by I believe staff members, the cleaning staff walked in on us twice even though we had the sign on the door! We couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Total disgrace and not even worth $80 a night let alone $213!! Absolutely disgusting! I’ll never return!

Clean Nice people running the business Beds were small we were supposed to have queen beds. But the were more like full size

The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Angelique -she was amazing! Unfortunately, their got water heater wasn't working so we had COLD showers our entire stay. The carpets in the room and hallway were gross and desperately need shampooed or replaced with flooring other than carpet that does not hold smells!

Breakfast was not great, but passable. Not great seating.

It was next to a Texas Roadhouse restaurant. Run down. AC didn’t work well.
