The vibe, very central, 7 eleven just outside. quiet. close to heaps of shops and restaurants. The pool was in a nice spot and never too busy. not enough pool towels,

It was exactly as advertised. Just make sure you know if you are in a bungalow or the hotel. The bungalows are the way to go. Everything was great. I would have been disappointed not to be in a bungalow.

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Everything is nearby.... good restaurants and shopping street are minutes away . Had a wonderful wonderful stay. Would love to come back. Thank you Montien House.

Great location. Beautiful property. Great value. Only negatives were no hot water in the shower (lukewarm), and the air conditioner blows right on the bed, therefore right in your face. Also the bed is not soft at all.

This was a peaceful & relaxing place to stay, and explore and experience Koh Samui. You are in the heart of buzzy Chaweng Beach, with access to both different beach bars & loads of restaurants & shopping nearby. Can't wait to book the next visit to Sumui, staying at Montien House ✈️??❣️

It is a beachfront property but none of the rooms have sea view. Not even the villas - which are mostly advertised on the website. Best part is the restaurant and the staff there. Pool is OK. Right in the center of the action on Koh Samui but still very quiet. Probably will visit again. It is quite beat up and everything smells like mold. It is relatively clean though - they are trying their best - changing linens and towels, etc. but you can’t beat the fatigue of the establishment - needs a renovation.

A very nice New Year Eve celebration Clogged shower drain on arrival (fixed the next day), no hot water the final two days. No hooks or towel racks. No storage or drawers for clothes TV remote had corroded batteries. The bed was very hard. Basically, the rooms need total refurbishment My unit was next to the pool which was nice at times. However, the lack of security at night allowed many young people from nearby bars to congregate in the pool area. The hotel should have designated smoking areas, especially a no smoking policy within the restaurant and pool area. Out.of their control but the resort was right underneath the flight path of all departing flights.

The floor was sticky, there was an annoying sound every couple of minutes from somewhere at the back.

The shower can be renewed a bit and also add a more powerful light in the bathroom. There is still residual noise from the main street, even if you are 50m away from it in the hotel building. If you're a light sleeper, you will need ear plugs for sure. Probably much more quieter in the bungalows in the garden.

central location AND beach front. this is a big plus. room is Spartan but clean. nice breakfast. there is noise at night from the street and from planes passing by.

i had a room that it was big enough for me and it was in the first floor - it is near the big road but it is very quiet and i liked it the beach is not far from the room and its near the pool - you can eat your breakfast and enjoyed the view the pool or the beach a couple hours of rain but its not about the hotel

The Staff is amazing. They really care about their guests and willing to the EXTRA for them. Good breakfast.
