The only issue for me was getting woken up a few times by cleaners and calls from reception - I would mention I dont want cleaning today or later, and would have the doorbell ring or a call from reception a few times.

The beds are amazing, the pool was nice, comfortable and modern rooms and amenities, access to beach club. We stayed there for new years and were given complimentary access to the NYE party at Seen and were given a really cute hangover kit and a chocolate bar for the New Year! Room service food was great as well! The staff was not welcoming, especially at reception. They had very serious and confused looks most of the time. Service overall was slow as well. Bathroom sink was slowly clogging, shower was leaking, phone wasn’t working, TV was set-up incorrectly but once we informed the reception they sorted everything out very quickly.

Size of the bed was very comfortable & kindness/helpfulness of all the staff was exceptional, especially Bang at the front desk who helped us with taxi to the airport & late checkout with no extra charge. We were in the Groovy Seaview Suite ($A450/night) and ocean view from our balcony was diminished by poor outlook over unattractive roofs of service buildings below - without too much effort/expense they could make this outlook more inviting by covering the roofs with artificial grass etc. Often the lights weren't working in the main living area, TV was difficult to navigate, mouldy smell was in the room when often the humidifier wasn't working, the floor in the shower recess always flooded as the drain wasn't working properly.

Some of the towels had holes in them and the restaurant prices are expensive

The breakfast was excellent – fresh, tasty, and with a good variety that gave us a perfect start to each day. And most of all, the location is fantastic: right across the street from Chabad House, and just a short walk to Chaweng Beach, Bangla-style nightlife, shops, restaurants, and anything else you might want while in Samui. It couldn’t be more convenient. The only downside we experienced was regarding the sunbeds at SEEN Beach Club, which is part of the hotel grounds. We were informed only at check-in that using them requires an additional fee, something we hadn’t been told in advance. Considering SEEN is integrated into the hotel’s branding and space, this came as a bit of a surprise and felt like a detail that should’ve been mentioned beforehand.

The hotel room was very clean, very professional staff and friendly. I enjoyed eating breakfast every morning. The food was delicious and very fresh.Swimming in both pools steps away from the beach ⛱️ There are no issues to report

The location is very central, the breakfast was great. The staff is amazing and really want to help you in every way they can. There was a lot of noise in the room from other rooms and from the beach bar of the hotel. When i came to the hotel i saw kids in the pool even though its suppose to be adults only hotel, they said its because of the water festival but they didn't mention it anywhere. Overall, the price paid was very high and not justified by the quality of the room and the hotel's facilities

Honestly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The rooms, the thought that goes into the content of the room, the food, the service, the music, the vibes-i could go on…..

The staff were not friendly at all. They were very rude even the hotel was good but the points got down only because of the staff very unsatisfied

Excellent location Too loud!!! Young Kids screaming in the pool At night they had a party at the beach club we could not sleep it was too loud we checked out and moved to the Hyatt resort

Very nice breakfast, top location right at the great chaweng beach, nice room with a terrace. 3 of our 4 nights we were awaken in the middle of the night because of loud talking neighbours… So rather „thin walls“, but we were obviously unlucky with our neighbours.

Avani chaweng is located in a great location, a minute or less from the main road of Chaweng, on the beach with seen beach club on its side. Room is big and very comfortable, bed is huge! It is a nice midrange hotel to be in. The hotel is adults only but, there are a lot of young people that come to be in this hotel and they make a lot of noise until late hours of the night, it is something that the hotel needs to address. Also, I think that the food is a bit poor in the morning. I think they should offer a better coffee in the morning… I didn’t like that even though Seen beach club is a part of the hotel, as a hotel guest you need to pay 5000-10000 bath for a bed next to the pool that is on the beach , At least the hotel should give some credit or nice discount if not free beds to his hotel guests on these beds. At least put some free smaller beds for hotel guests on the pool side.
