Chaweng Regent Beach Resort

Staff is super friendly, hotel facilities are of high end. Breakfast is marvelous with lots of choices and really good food. Gym center is highly equipped and well maintained. We were upgraded to luxury rooms after the third night, so we had a chance to sample both types of rooms. Bottom line - Perfect. Well, nothing....

Location is ok just because it’s right at the Chaweng street, the beach side is the worst in this area. There are way better spots down the Chaweng. Hotel staff is too tired of tourists. You can feel it in every interaction with them. Even in their smiles.

Great location, right on the beach and central chaweng, nice large rooms, versatile breakfast We weren't allowed to extend our stay by 1 hour (with pay) so we had to wait in a 35 degrees heat for our pickup to the airport

Aside from the reception, the rest of the hotel staff (restaurant, housekeeping, pool) were very nice, polite, and helpful. he swimming pools were very nice and enjoyable. We stayed here for 5 nights, booking 2 rooms for a family of 6 (3 people per room). While the hotel is rated as a 5-star property, it unfortunately does not live up to that standard. The staff at the front desk during both our arrival and departure were not welcoming. The overall energy and attitude there felt uncomfortable and unpleasant. The rooms were disappointing and felt outdated. Worst of all, the extra bed provided was a folding bed covered in quite a bit of rust. Even though we arrived long after the official check-in time and the hotel knew well in advance that we were a family of six, the extra bed wasn't even set up. They only came to fix it after we had already entered the room.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and practical. The two pools were exceptional—it was hard to decide which one to relax at each day! The spa was amazing and a wonderful place to unwind. The hotel is perfectly located right on the beach, making it the ideal place to enjoy everything Chaweng has to offer. We had a fantastic stay and would happily return.

The staff, the amenities, the breakfast, the pool, and the beach were all AMAZING!! Highly recommend Chaweng if you want a private place on the bustling streets of Koh Samui. Stepping into the hotel felt like entering a whole different place, without having to sacrifice on location. Overall we would come back again. It didn’t bother me, but my travel companion could hear the bass/ music from the streets at night. Not anything the hotel can control, just wanted to note that. Also, the beach is very shallow due to an outcrop of rocks farther out. But, you can walk 2 minutes down to get to more deeper, better waters.

Good pools and great breakfast The gym was great as they had a spinning bicycle Didn’t have a twin room as we booked so first 2 nights our daughter slept on a sofa, then they move us to a downgraded room, much smaller then what we’ve booked (which Booking made the gap refund as the hotel didn’t). The beach is not good due to the breakwater. In the end we moved to Chewing Garden beach resort which was much better and less pricey

Location is good No Breakfast variety, they charge for any request “ice is chargeable”, only two complimentary bottles of water daily “while many resorts provide 4 or more”.

Location and perfectly managed pool area. No towels saving loungers. Staff attentive. Breakfast location next to beach.

Great location and really nice layout, wonderful private beach and beautiful pools. Central but quiet. Charging for iced coffee at the buffet breakfast is just ridiculous. Also the kids club was very very basic and most of the time the staff was just on their phones.

The location is amazing close to the busy area in Koh Samui Nothing

Resort was great. I don’t usually spend much time at my hotel, but we were at the pool bar everyday. The room was really nice as was the whole resort

location in the city. lot‘s of cannabis stores, pubs, bars, etc. as a family with a baby stroller we were at the wrong place. We stayed in the hotel because of that. was fine for us for 1 week. If longer it would have been too boring. The noise of the airplanes was very loud but ok since it was not that often and not during the night. for the kids it was exciting to see the planes so close up ;)
