Great location - next to subway and lots of cafes/ food. Dorm room amenities are good with curtains, reading lights and plugs. Some activities or more up to date tour information (the booklet on Chengdu with recommendations is from pre-COVID) would help create a better international hostel vibe.

The price and the proximity to the tourist bus station made this place so great a stay. The vibe there was nice. The lobby is big, with lots of books, a guitar and an ukulele. It's nice that the neighborhood it's located in has lots of restaurants around, fresh fruit stalls, nearby a University with coffee shops, and convenience stores for whatever you need. The room we had was clean, with its own shower, and quiet. We were able to get some good rest before our long bus ride to Kangding!

So much to like! Most importantly, the location was great! Close to a metro, 3-5 minute walk to the tourist bus station we used to get to Kangding for our Gongga trek, as well as Emeishan. There are a lot of food options around, with a thriving little community. We ate at a small local restaurant a few times and loved it. Also, the street food was good. The place itself was nice. The lobby has a hostel feel with books, a guitar, an ukulele as well. Easy check in and payment with either cash or QR code (wexing). There's a laundry place which cost 7 Kwai a load. Finally, no kitchen, but a microwave on premises. The room had two bottles of drinking water, candies, towels, mosquito coils, water boiler, room slippers, toothbrush, and plenty of outlets to charge your stuff! The bed was really stiff, like it needed to be changed. I woke up with back pains. The place itself while well maintained, is a bit dated. It was hard to find. Since I can't use Google, it was hard for my Cab to find where to drop me off. It's located right next to the metro entrance!

Location to metro, loads of restaurants close, staff helpful with tour help, gym below ( for a fee) was very good equipment and value. WiFi was OK. Water and towels changed daily. Run down, kitchen is filthy, beds are the most uncomfortable we've slept in across China, random smell of smoke at different times.

The location is perfect, right next to a metro station. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Location is great, staff tried to help as best they could, shower was decent, size of room was good. Gym below at additional price was really good. Beds are very uncomfortable, smell of smoke at different times in thr day and night, kitchen facilities are pretty grim and the place is just a little run down.
