Staff was very nice. Breakfast was nice. - Tons of mosquitoes inside the room. They could have electrical zappers if they are willing to problem solve. - The boutique rooms were nothing like the nice pictures generally showcased. Total bait and switch. - Bathroom door (dual piece style) wouldn't operate without a decent amount of struggle every time and a loud noise since the bottom of the doors were badly rubbing against the floors. Where the noise becomes a real issue: when one person needs to wake up and hit the restroom in the middle of the night, you end up disturbing others. - Almost every aspect of the boutique room was antique, like really really old; room was dim, dingy, quite small (barely any space to walk around on 3 sides), awkward gap between the bed frame and headboard, incl things like the closet - super old. Not charming at that point, everything just felt run down. - No hot water in the sink, only cold. - Hot water was very inconsistent. The flow pressure from the shower was very poor. It's a joke to expect someone to take a normal shower with the flow available. Hot water would randomly stop working. HERE is the worst part, on the final day, my daughter went for a shower to the bathroom in the neighboring room #118 (we had 3 boutique rooms) and I went inside ours AT THE SAME TIME, water totally stopped coming, a few minutes in! Like seriously, what the hell. Insane. Imagine that while you are trying to meet time schedules, maybe have applied soap and then boom, not just no hot water, no water AT ALL. - Various walls had regular vertical gaps all over (I guess as part of a rustic feel, not sure). But honestly, it just feels severely rundown, poorly maintained and like bugs etc might be moving in/out etc. Definitely a severe eye-sore. - The shower curtain was filthy, long and dragging on the floor with several hooks broken/holes ripped at the top. Since the curtain was super old and dragging on the floor, it was nasty with brown gunky build up there.

Loved the ambience. Staff were very calm and polite, quick to assist.

Loved the heritage style room. Felt very safe. Staff really friendly and helpful. Food was absolutely amazing ? Wasn’t expecting such high calibre gourmet meals! Wedding season! Music was exceptionally loud and went on till after midnight! Place felt slightly past its former glory - a lick of paint and regular maintenance would easily revive it.

Very nice premises, well maintained, great food at the restaurant, very helpful, fun and friendly staff. Any request was directly catered to. The heritage rooms are a little dark but have all the amenities and are very clean.

The room is very spacious. The bed is comfortable the staff are super friendly and helpful The bathroom is small and looks all. The soundproof is not that good so you can hear the music from the bar every night The Wi-Fi works, but a bit slow

The food was great and the bar and restaurants were lovely. Walking around the beautiful property was nice. It's location good and close to the beach. The rooms were old, needed new paint or refurbished furniture. It was dusty, and the doors were not well maintained and creaky. The mattress was hard and pillows also. The rooms needed a do over and were not comfortable. The bathroom especially needed a revamp, was very old and not very clean. The traditional look is lovely but it needs to be maintained and kept clean.

The service is fast and reliable. The breakfast was one of the best things here we looked forward to it every morning! The place is beautiful and the rooms are very clean :) The flush wasn't working properly, there were mosquitos

The location is a bit too interior. That's not much of deterrent though.
