Stay Court - Business Class Hotel - Near Central Railway Station

Cramped street

Property is near Central station. Neatly maintained and very helpful staff that accommodated my request for a half day extension. I am very thankful for that. If economy of rates is priority, this would not be a bad choice, with some decent restaurants around the area. Kettle and coffee sachets are provided on request. Staff can source food also from nearby on request. Very small room without any additional facilities. Single lift that takes its own sweet time. Can probably get a better accommodation at a slightly higher price point.

The staff at reception, Praveen was extremely courteous and looks he takes customer satisfaction as his motto. Upkeep of lift, it's fan need refurbishing.

Facilities and services are good.. but, no food availability ..

1) Yes it's very clean. The hotel boys really clean the rooms super well after every guest. How? They even lift up the entire bed frame to clean beneath it. 2)WOW. Their service and attitude is amazing. I wanted to tell them there's no need to stand up each time a guest passes them. Not once was I not greeted every moment. 3)The amazing hot water wow. I just don't get it why the hotel boys walk around the streets outside and in the hotel barefooted without footwear. I mean the streets outside are not clean as we all know. They walk all over the streets outside and then they walk into your room. I did not allow them into my room and i did not want to make my room for this very reason I don't want them entering. 2) The pillows were both high and hard latex kind. Would be good to give soft pillows instead. Luckily I brought my travel pillow to use.

They should have a restaurant inside, Also the room tariff is bit high as compared to the size of the room, rest all are good. Behavior of the staffs, cleanliness, service, location

Hotel is clean and very good staff Hot water was not available in the early morning.

The room tended to keep high humidity which made us a bit uncomfortable. It felt like the surface of the bed and all clothes were wet.

Staff were very attentive and the rooms were very clean. We were impressed. Nice and close to the Metro station Make sure you keep the window closed in the afternoon or else the fumes from rickshaws make their way in. This is an individual error on my part

Superb

Clean room, staff mostly friendly, not too far from both railway stations. Decent AC (the controls are slow though) The rooms are quite small for the price. The window lead to a ventilation shaft. The walls are thin, so you hear a lot from your neighbours. Beds are too short for tall people (I measure 185 cm). A single small cockroach was passing through the room. They asked me four times to confirm my arrival time (which I had already done after the second time).

A reasonable hotel tucked away from the busy, noisy areas. It was clean and value for money. Nothing to comment

Friendly staff who would try and help whatever the request. If you need something, just ask. Drinking water available. Room was basic, but comfortable, but with internal shaft window so no natural light. The location was good - it is on a side street right near Central Station, the metro and Chennai Park town station (for the super cheap suburban line down the coast to the Temple, lighthouse and beach)
