Very satisfied of our stay

. room was excellent. We stayed for 2 nights. The morning breakfast was good because there were lots of choices of food to choose from. I also liked the lemon berry water in the lobby. Is there a complaint for the room being too cold? of course not, it was great. I had the option to turn it down, better that than too hot. I'll definitely look to stay here my next visit in town.

When we travel, we ALWAYS stay at a Marriott Holiday weekend sold out hotel - NO Towels, had to ASK for towels 3 times, was told they had no clean towels or wash cloths and was waiting for them to finish washing. They brought up BLUE POOL TOWELS/ POOL was closed, Bugs in my room. My Kids had to KILL a COCKROACH!!! Not to mention I lookup at the ceiling and it was a BIG bug in the ceiling LIGHT fixture!! The lighting was so dem I had to OPEN the curtains to get LIGHT from the sunshine. Room was not CLEANED - the prior guest DIRTY Socks was under the bed and food. The refrigerator was so FULL of ICE we could not put our water bottles in to keep cold. Breakfast was awful - down stairs at 8:30am and breakfast was not replenished had to ASK for all items to be replenished and counters cleaned. The Hallway was SOOO HOT it felt like a sauna each time we opened our room door. The front desk staff act as if I was asking for something out of the NORM and was bothering them. SOO very disappointed.

Clean room but the bathroom had an old tub that had chipped bottom, on several spots , looked like paint chipped off. Made is uncomfortable to soak in tub so just took shower. Other than that , great hotel!

The staff was neither friendly or helpful when we checked in after a long day of traveling. We asked some questions about the area .The front desk staff looked ,like they were put out .We had 100% better customer service at Drury Inn in Glen Allen ,VA a week ago ! I am a Marriot Rewards member .We will never stay here again. The free breakfast was a huge disappointment .

My stay at this hotel took a turn for the worse at check out. My reservation was already paid for, and at checkout I was charged doubled what I already paid. The young lady who checked me out, charged me an early checkout fee, and denied she made a mistake. I did not checkout early. After my card was charged double the fee I initially paid, I asked to speak with a manager. A manager was not on site and I was given a card to call the next day. I called the next day, spoke with the front desk, only to be told that the manager was not available, and to call back later. I called again in the afternoon to be told the manager was in a meeting, to call back in a hour. I finally spoke with the manager and I was assured that I would receive a refund. Three days went by and I did not receive a refund from being charged doubled, and no one from hotel reached out to me. To get a response from the hotel and my refund. I had to submit a claim to my bank and to the cooperate office for this hotel. This is an unacceptable and unprofessional business practice. This has caused me great distress and disappointment in how I was treated in this matter. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
