Days Inn by Wyndham Chester

Convenient, clean, met my basic needs during a long solo journey.

I chose Days Inn based on previous experiences, it would seem their standards are not what I was expecting. Motel was quite dated and our room smelled like a combination of musty and smoky...won't stay here again, I guess you get what you pay for.

Well, my room had roaches. There were items damaged. The room had a terrible odor. I asked for a refund. He asked why I didn't change rooms, the WHOLE hotel is this way.

They had roaches

It had roaches in the room the non smoking room smelled like smoke. The shower and toilet had hair in it. The shower looked dirty it leaked.

very comfortable!

I normally stay at this hotel when traveling and had no issues. This particular stay I was switched to 3 different rooms, due to issues, but never complained, the toilet barely worked I never complained. On the day of my checkout the front desk was notified that I would checkout at 11am. I went to breakfast and shopped a few, when i returned I noticed my curtains were open. I asked cleaning staff who was in my room and was told no one. Upon opening my room door I see everything we left in the room was removed even alcoholic unopened beverages. A cleaning staff worked came and was very apologetic about cleaning my room and had threw everything away. I asked where were my unopened things and she said she did not know. We were showed a trash bag but none of the unopened things were in it. When i inquired she played dumbfounded as if she did not know where they went. I immediately went to the front desk and was told the managers were out of town until that Monday! I waited and called today on Wednesday and was told the management came but left again! I was not followed up with as promised, no compensation, or nothing! It’s truly just bad service! Never again!

Air conditioning

Very clean

The sink faucet was messed up and we only got hot water from it. There was a bug problem and out door was sticking and didnt shut tight. And the chair in the room was stained and nasty looking

There was no breakfast. No coffee in the room either. The guy was dismissive and rude on the phone and in person. Attendant was rude. Showed us a room said it was $100 cash. I looked on the booking site, found it. Then he said we didn’t book a king so we were given a different room. It has a gross bathroom, shower was caulked badly, it has a tiny toilet a foot off the ground, place had not been updated in decades. Bed had a metal barrier that made a drum sound when we rolled over and if we happened to kick it. Bad vibes- will never ever go back.

You should close this motels, staff was worthless, could not enter lobby, I felt I was at a jail facility. I grew up in Chester and this motel gave the WRONG impression of the surrounding area. If the owner doesn't want to run it properly than close it. I will never stay at another Days Inn and now I question Wyndham name attached to such of a place.

That it was a smoking room and easy check in The broken sink, the smell. The furniture and appliances are very worn and look dingy. The price considering the room.

It was nice for a 1 night stay, no hot water st sink

Hotel rooms were full of cockroaches beds were dirty linens had burn holes in them blood on the sheets nasty place.

Needs an exterminator! Breakfast isn’t included not that I would have eaten any,Housekeeping comes banging on the door before check out.
