The front desk staff person was a lady named Mel. She was wearing a name tag that read “Mel: Night Audit”… we arrived at 10 PM and she was behind the desk with a younger man. We were the only people in the lobby. We walked straight to the front desk and stood in front of her and she did not acknowledge us for several minutes. She was working on something at the computer and was very upset. She was telling the younger man that worked there how no one else who works there does their job right and she has to fix all the problems. Specifically she was having to take rooms out of service that have not been cleaned properly during the day. Same ranted on and on about how the owners of the property are aware of this problem, but do nothing to fix it. She went on and on and wasted several minutes of our time. She then apologize that we had to witness her rant. She processed our reservation gave us our room key and said “I hope your room is clean. Let me know if it’s not”… We travel for work daily and by far this is the worst customer service we ever received at a hotel across the country in a very, very long time. Also, we have stayed at this location many times in the past and the breakfast has went downhill. They used to offer bacon and or sausage and omelettes in the morning. The current breakfast offerings are all carbs except for powdered eggs.. The breakfast was very disappointing.. Someone needs to review the camera footage of this disgruntled employee named Mel.

Nice Place. Nice Place. Nice Place.

We also received some very rude comments from men that were doing construction at the hotel. On the plus side, staff was very nice and the room was clean.

Check in was an ordeal. Terribly understaffed, assigned to the incorrect room which was still not cleaned. When I finally got the correct room the floor and countertops were dirty. Breakfast was adequate but somewhat sparse. Checkout was fine. Dining in house: the food was pretty good, but again, under staffed.

Shower was hot. Pillows were flat. Which I like. Bed was comfortable. AC didn’t maintain room temperature consistently. Which was uncomfortable. Our blind wouldn’t close. We were on the first floor right across from the main entrance so lights flashed into our room all night. We asked the desk if they could fix it or something? They were fully booked so we couldn’t change rooms. Didn’t offer a discount. Nothing. Breakfast was terrible. Went down at 7am. No oatmeal left. Soggy waffles. No juice left. Awful start to our drive.

Clean and safe location. Vehicle noise not sure if it was the highway.

OK breakfast. Comfortable bed. The freezer in the refrigerator needed thawing. I couldn’t get my freezer blocks in the freezer. The light on the desk didn’t work, and the plugs and sockets on the desk didn’t work. I was told to use the side door to get to my room. It was really, really difficult trying to get the luggage cart up over the door sill while trying to hold the door open. Poor service in the restaurant.

They overbooked the room! I turned up at 10pm with 2 kids, only to be told, no room was available and they wouldn't refund me and I had to take it with expedia! Apparently this has happen "a lot of times" and "they feel terrible turning people away". Then don't offer the rooms if they are unavailable.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The bedding was fresh. There were lots of towels. The staff is very helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely looking room but needs a good clean. Breakfast was just a mess with no staff keeping on top of the housekeeping. Could be a fantastic place to stay but needs attention

Beds were comfortable First room had us on the 6th floor and floors were dirty with dirt and crumbs , ac didn’t work well and kept turning off , was told we could change rooms after a hour I had to go back to the lobby and talk to a new management because the lady I talked to never told the next shift person to let us change rooms .

The waitress/bartender in the bar was excellent. She ran the show without any help and always had a smile on her face. This property is wonderful!

It was confusing to get around. More signage for lobby and restaurant would be helpful.
