Great experience! Exceptional, friendly service by the owner and family. So glad we stayed. Very comfortable with the best kitchen in town. Excellent launch point for our Mekong river cruise. Great value!!

Very convenient for taking one of the longboat cruises on the Mekong into Laos. The atmosphere is fun as almost all guests are overnighting before their cruise. They serve dinner and good cocktails too and the staff are all very friendly.

A wonderful hotel in a lovely setting. From the very friendly owner and staff to the impeccably clean facilities, our stay was wonderful! We loved the quiet, peaceful surroundings and being close to a fantastic walkway along the Mekong. Dinner and breakfast were delicious.

The property was beautiful! Everything from our room, view, dining area was spectacular. Our hostess was lovely, attentive to our questions and helpful by suggesting what to do. We had only a one night stay and next time it will be more! Absolutely nothing negative to say.

Very well organised and comfortable hotel. They arranged early taxi to the border to get the slow boat. Also had very efficient and tasty dinner and breakfast. The hotel had cycles to borrow and there is a fabulous cycle path alongside the Mekong into town which was a good way to spend a few hours before moving on. Nothing

We loved how peaceful this property was. The views from the restaurant/lounge area of the farm land and mountains is absolutely splendid. Nothing. It was wonderful.

Our second visit and we were equally impressed by the genuine hospitality of Mai & Nak. It’s been a perfect 5 nights getaway from it all. Spacious room, tasty breakfast if needed. Wheelchair friendly. Close to the Mekong and many nice places to explore in the neighborhood.

My husband and I loved this hotel. Everything from the moment we arrived was exceptional. The room was large and spotlessly clean. The meals were delicious and the view was spectacular. We only stayed one night but would highly recommend this hotel.

Quiet location with beautiful kept grounds amidst lush green trees. Rooms were spacious and clean, beds with nice bed linens. The owner and family and their staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Lovely accommodation, staff super friendly, room with beautiful view, very clean and they also prepared a vegan dinner even if not included in the menu of the restaurant! Definitely recommended!

The loveliest and most wonderful service you can ever imagine. And I am comparing it against highly rated places like the Shangri La in Bangkok Rayvadee in Krabi and the Inside House in Chiang Mai. A beautiful view towards the mekong. A wonderful home cooked meal. Perhaps feather pillow options though probably unrealistic in this price range.
