What an incredibly peaceful setting, close to town and easy to get to interesting excursions in the surrounding area. Beautiful, traditional villas with lotus, plumeria, and so many other plants. Wonderful restaurants in walking distance and a great restaurant on site as well. Meimei ran the reception desk and went out of her way to listen to our interests and help us plan trips to temples, massages, a cooking class at an organic farm, a visit to a tea farm, an elephant sanctuary, silk and ceramic studios, an art market, and even arrange drivers. We are so grateful to her an Baansuwanburi for orienting us and creating life long memories! It would have been helpful to get an earlier start if breakfast started at 7 but I see how challenging that is with a small operation. We always ended up with enough time to do everything anyway!

We liked everything about this property. The property is about 15 minutes from the main downtown area by Grab not because of distance but because of traffic. It is a very cheap and easy commute to get a ride into the main downtown area. The landscaping is beautiful and lush. You wouldn’t even know you’re in the middle of the city except for the occasional sound of a car. The traditional Thai style buildings were beautiful and extremely well furnished. Everything was extremely comfortable. The pond area was beautiful. The food on site was extremely good. There wasn’t a single thing we ordered over the course of our stay that wasn’t extremely delicious. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. No complaints here, everything was great.

Everything is perfect. You really feel in peace there. Meimei is great. She goes above and beyond to make your stay truly perfect!!

The coffee was amazing The showers didn't have consistent warm water.No hot water warm water would isolate from warm to cool back to warm.

The pool was nice and the service was friendly and welcoming. We knew the location was outside the old town but had thought it would be a more relaxing rural area, but it was more in the suburbs and inconvenient to get into town. Was a little strange to be the only people at the property when we were there. For the price it was very strange that breakfast (or unlimited drinking water) wasn’t included which is the norm in Thailand and came across as a bit cheap. Also be aware that the breakfast isn’t served until 8 and most day trips start at 8. We stayed at another Chiang Mai hotel half the price afterwards where a full breakfast was included and the service was more proactive in trying to be helpful and just a bit more good energy. The room was nice but there were noticeable maintenance and cleaning issues, for example the shower had black mold in the grout.

The place is a little outside the city, in a residential area, but it’s charming and loved walking the neighborhood seeing how ppl live. The mattress was a little hard

Mei was AH-MAZING! She was so nice and helpful. The stay was absolutely wonderful! We loved our room and had such a great time. The property is a bit far from Chiang Mai central but so worth the stay!

This property and its staff are absolutely incredible - it has to be in my top few hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The hospitality and ambiance made the experience that much better. Mei Mei took great care of us with recommendations and amazing food at the family-run restaurant. The pool and beautiful views from the room were so great. Such a beautiful, modern twist on traditional Thai design. There may be a lot of options in Chiang Mai, but this hotel is one of a kind and a must-stop. I can’t wait until next trip to revisit and experience the beautiful property again. Nothing! All positive :)

My hotel room was spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed with modern amenities and authentic touches. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the balcony view of the surrounding landscape was breathtaking. The property itself was stunning—lush greenery, well-maintained grounds, and serene spaces perfect for relaxing. Whether I was lounging by the pool or walking through the gardens, it felt like a peaceful escape from the busy world. Overall, this stay exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Thailand—it’s a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and exceptional service.

Nothing that i didn’t like

Mei is an exceptional host and that can be felt throughout the property. It’s a magical place with beautiful bungalows and a wonderful pool. This family run hotel is run with extreme attention to detail.

The property is 20/30 minutes outside of Chiang Mai so that if you don’t have a car you are dependent on taxis although we never had a problem getting a Grab. Our room was noisy but quitened down after 9pm. The rooms do need a bit of a refresh.

This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in! The location is a little out of the way but it’s 100% worth it! The rooms are spacious and beautiful! I had a bungalow above the dining space. It was quiet and had incredible views! I was able to have a self check in and the Mei, the hostess, was the most accommodating! This was one of my favorite places to stay at! I cannot wait to return!

As newly weds, the wife and I booked this as 1/3 of our honeymoon and we couldn't be more thankful that we included this wonderful, intimate, and peaceful location. The garden, the pool, the food, the room, and everyone working there was exemplary and kind. We loved the home made and cooked to order food, highly recommend the Thai omelet and Mei's fantastic caramel macchiatos. The amenities as far as the pool, bathrooms, common area, connectivity and entertainment were all top notch. I can not say enough about this location and the wonderful and relaxing time we had while we were there. N/A

Staff was extremely kind. The hotel had a great vibe and was quiet. Very relaxing and quiet.

The grounds were their own little paradise. Such a beautiful garden-jungle like hotel! There wasn’t much to not like.

We loved everything -- the thoughtfulness that's evident in the careful designing of space, the variety of places to relax, the lovely landscaping, the true hospitality of everyone who works there, the delicious breakfasts, the peace and quiet of the surroundings.

Mei and her family were amazing host: kind, always smiling, helpful and with great recommendation. Rooms are really comfortable, pool is perfect to swim in the morning or when you come back from traveling, and the sport equipment are great as well :). Furthermore, the food was amazing even better than most restaurants we have done in the city. Expresso café were a delight as well. Thanks again! We highly recommend your place to anyone traveling the region ❤️ Everything was perfectly fine
