Very friendly staff-housekeeping lady, restaurant/breakfast staff, front desk/concierge Great location Very good breakfast with egg station (Very good/pleasant egg station cooks) Lots of outlets for your devices, robes, amenities, comfy bed Never seen a hotel bathroom w a dedicated urinal before Bathroom a musty smell

Breakfast was the same few options every day so it can get boring

Excellent location - 2 min from one of the temples and the Sunday market but very very quiet. The hotel itself is simple and comfortable. In the room some things needed to be fixed - the bathroom sink was leaking, the handles in the shower and for the hanging were very loose. The hotel is very simply designed.
-
The bathroom is small and the rooms are a bit dated.
-
Great overall experience. Awesome staff, great location, and the accommodations themselves are very nice.
-
Not much honestly Front Staff wasn’t very helpful, restaurant staff had no personality.

We had a wonderful stay at De Lanna Hotel. The Honeymoon Suite was beautiful, spacious, and extremely comfortable, making our stay feel both relaxing and special. The location was excellent and made it very easy to explore the area, while the staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. We also really enjoyed the restaurant/ bar area, which added even more to the overall experience. Overall, this was a fantastic stay and a hotel we would happily recommend to anyone visiting Chiang Mai. The only part of the stay we were not particularly impressed with was the breakfast buffet. We normally avoid hotel breakfast buffets because they are often average at best, but due to our schedule we decided to try it. Unfortunately, it did not stand out and fell below the quality of the rest of the hotel experience.

The property was extremely clean and staff saw to our every need.

Location and value were great. There was an issue with the A/C . we checked in late and they hadn’t turn the AC in the room. It was 30 degreee Celsius outside and they hadn’t turn to change our room because the Ac was broken .

Should be rated 5-Star

Wifi was slow and dropped off frequently. Compounding the problem login required user input everytime, user name and password. I spent a lot of time logging in and then logging in again. Front desk reset the router for me once but did not make much of a difference.
-
Location and nice outdoor area and pool, bed comfortable. Very small bathroom, water temperatures not consistent.
-
The breakfast was not good at all, and the bedding and linens were very cheap and uncomfortable. The bathroom was cramped, and there was barely any hot water. The internet constantly logging out automatically was also unecessary and annoying. Great location, traditional architecture, but badly needs renovation and an upgrade.
-
Peaceful feeling environment and great food service and eating outside in a beautiful setting with a friendly staff taking care of your requests and tastes. Hours to be extended for food in the evenings

The location is awesome - in the Chiang Mai Old City, making it easy to get to temples, restaurants, etc. Nice courtyard with tables and places to sit by the pool. Fabulous coffee shop right around the corner! Nice staff and it was a comfortable stay. The rooms are what I associate with a Japanese style - everything was very low to the floor (e.g. sit on the floor at a desk rather than a chair). Not a problem if you're flexible - I'm post bone-cancer treatment so it was a little hard for me. The bedroom area floor in our room was elevated about 6 inches higher than the entryway/bathroom, adding a little night-time navigation challenge. I got out my phone flashlight and it wasn't a problem.

All in all - you get what you paid for, The staff is keen to assist and pleasant.

Relaxing and Great staff! The pool area!

The location was excellent

The location was near a 7-11 , a massage place, and a little further walk to restaurants and street markets. The whole feeling of the place was the guests were a problem and annoyance. The front desk at check in wasn’t friendly and very matter of fact about the rules which are listed throughout the room as well. Things such as a price list for any if you steal or damage, The restaurant and bar were almost always empty other than several employees who would ignore you until you walked over to them and seemed annoyed you were there interrupting them from their phones. The rooms themselves were poorly constructed and you could hear the voices from the rooms not only on either side but also above as well as the footsteps. The wood doors and doorframes all stuck so every room had to slam the door to shut which was heard and felt at all hours of the day and night. It really felt more like a low end hostel than a nice hotel we thought we had booked for the Chiang Mai portion of our Thailand trip. The bathroom had been renovated with a new tub and sink but the shower handle was not installed properly and so the temperature could not be adjusted plus there was another sign basically saying don’t bother to call about the lack of hot water because it was due to solar panels. We used the Laundry Room and one of the dryers was still running after 1 1/2 hours but the sign on it said don’t open until it stops because you can’t restart but when we did sure enough the clothes were still wet, what is the point of having a dryer you know doesn’t work. I could go on about the cockroaches and mosquitoes and much more over our 6 nights and we never complained one time. I assumed the staff was so standoffish since they probably get complaints daily.
