The hostel is located in the backpacker-friendly “hostel street” of Chiang Mai. The staff was welcoming and attentive. The dorm had comfortable beds and the bedsheets were clean, also with curtains, a bedside lamp and electrical socket. The decor was to my surprise very much based on Whitney Huston pictures, which was funny and nice. There were no laundry facilities, but another hostel down the road had them and granted access to outsiders, which was convenient. There was a cute cat in the neighbourhood that stayed on the porches of the hostels as it pleased, contributing nicely to the atmosphere (it didn’t enter into the private areas though). A complementary breakfast was offered which was, although simple, quite a nice gesture. The room was a bit dated, although, to be fair, the pictures were reliable and this was neither a surprise nor a nuisance. The lockers were a bit small, but there was more than 1 available per bed, so I ended up not having storage space issues (though I was lucky to have a spare padlock for the purpose). The lockers were metallic and a bit old, and thus they were a bit noisy to open and close, especially if you need to access them during night time. The bathroom (1 per 8 beds) and the 2 showers showed signs of use, but were perfectly clean and functional. However, these are located separate from the dorm and in the corridor, so once you exit the shower you are directly in the hallway, making the logistics of getting (un)dressed a bit challenging. All rooms are in the upper floors and the access is only possible by stairs.

Very convenient location near the Old City. There are a lot of hostels on this street. The showers and rooms were clean. The lobby isn’t spacious or very comfortable. The staff was friendly but not always available.

Comfortable, everything you need to rise and shine !

First of all, I spent more than 3 weeks in this hostel. I like everything especially the staff. The ower is very friendly and helpful with her guests and pay attention to what you may need and always ready to answer your questions and advice ... I recommend this hostel 100% and I will definitely come back to again in my next trip to Chiang mai. Khalid.

I saw a small insect bed bugs ?

The location of the property was very convenient, close to the Old City in Chiang Mai and the night market with food stalls. The area itself was very quiet even though it’s in the city center and close to several other hostels and guesthouses. The staff was always nice and helpful. The facilities (rooms, bathrooms were always clean). The property offers breakfast, however, you need to go to a different hostel located on the same street, which can be a little inconvenient but I personally didn’t mind at all, and the breakfast was quite nice. There was no actual bathroom since the showers were located in the hallways. Therefore, there wasn’t much space for putting your clothes or other things, and when you got out of the shower you were right in the hallway, which was slightly inconvenient. Otherwise everything was nice.

the hostel is centrally located and has an evening food market within walking distance. the staff were supportive. I came after they had left but the key wasn’t working. I was able to communicate easily with a representative and she eventually came and fixed the issue for me. this was my second time staying at Lemonap and I am likely to stay there again if I need a hostel in Chiang Mai.

The beds are spacious, with a towel rack and 2 electrical points. Breakfast was offered ( this was apparently going to stop though) and there was free drinking water along with hot water in the morning and coffee, hot chocolate and tea. The lounge area was pleasant with a few fans to help keep cool when working or chatting strange rule of not using the hot water dispenser after midday and to use the microwave to warm water - the microwave was pretty grim on the inside.

The bed was comfy, the facility is all clean, not far from main attraction, breakfast was good enough. And the staff was kind. This is a small hostel and just one person is on duty at the reception. Sometimes when that person is out for something, there’s no one at the reception.
